There is a list, do research. BO rooten fruit tells me he is not saved
historyb its good to know some believers are not afraid to call a spade a spade. We have been given the "Judge not, lest ye be judge " card as a free pass to NOT use discernment anymore.

I believe that it is necessary to try to assess someone's beliefs in order to effectively witness to them. However, since that's obviously not your objective with regard to the president I think you're simply slamming him and don't care whether he is saved or not. Am I correct?

No your not correct. I think we should pray for President Obama and hope he will see the truth about making a profession and carring out certain
stances that are not godly. The video "if you saw" was showing a contrast of his profession and making different choices that scripture wouldn't support.

I think you're being too harsh on most of the responders to this thread if you see the purpose as being to slam the President.

The purpose of this thread is to open the eyes of those who will follow anyone who they believe is a Christian without questioning where they are being led; believing they have a common LORD and therefore reason to be spiritualy agreed. We who have received God's grace and pardon, follow after those teachings which have been emphasized which often lead us to trust and follow authorities without question.

We are taught to avoid s@xual seduction by avoiding certain activities, persons, dress, occassions, media and publications. We are taught that substance use and abuse often presents its beginings in the seductive influences of peer pressure, or one's own desire to escape reality, or glamour-use of those who are famous...... and therfore not succumb to temptation.

But We have not been taught that Christians can be seduced and are being seduced by such as misrepresentation of words or titles, by the superficial appearance of 'goodness', by promises, by education, by false science, by use of scripture taken out of context, by misrepresentation of intentions, or by people who call themselves Christian.

If we assume everyone who calls themselves Christian is Christian without looking at their fruit, eventually we accept as 'real' all the masquerades surrounding us until the name loses its meaning, and the church, which is supposed to be present in each individual losses its indentity of difference which is suppose to both unite us and separate us as distinctive from the world.

How do you witness to a person who calls himself a Christian? Why would you if you accept it as fact? You then have to examine what they report to believe and see if it lines up with the truth....... then you have a base on which to possibly approach them and instruct them more properly in hopes of either confirming through their reception of the truth or to reveal to them their need.

This thread does that for us and reminds us to guard against seduction.

Duh, the one that it follows. Isn't that obvious?

No, it is not obvious!!

Please be so kind as to show in the post you supposedly answered, where you get the ideas that the red portions of your quote are so stated!!

Look FH, I am not trying to be obnoxious, but you aren' making any sense to me.

Why don't you just simply reply to my questions sans the, well, whatever you call your replies.

From what I've seen from you so far, windcatcher has you pegged!

Barring a sane reply this time, AFAIC you are a troll, and ignored henceforth!
