And do you know why Van? Because NOBODY repents on their own. Nobody seeks God. Nobody is righteous. I know you don't believe that but that is Scripture.
Now he admits God commanded all people to repent but no lost person is able. Go figure...

So we finally return to the essence of the dispute, God made the lost (according to Calvinism) unable to repent, yet commands all people everywhere to repent. Utter nonsense...

It depends what you mean by ability Van. We don't repent because we do not want to. In that sense, we are unable. If we had the desire to, we could and would. But we don't.

Asking you to follow the rules of posting citations is not a rule violation.
Notice once again this poster is not addressing the topic but is constantly hurling falsehoods. Subject change after subject change. Pathetic

Calvinism's claims are unbiblical nonsense. Now you want to argue about the meaning of words. Claiming the lost are unable to repent, Calvinism's false claim, is unbiblical.

Luke 10:13
“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that occurred in you had occurred in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

Calvinism says the lost are unable to repent, Jesus says the lost can repent. Who do you believe?

You might want to actually do some study on the passage as opposed to taking one verse out of context. But you won't.

Now "would have repented" does not mean "would have repented" but needs contextual study. One after the other, falsehood piled on falsehood, personal attack and subject change. Folks, the case has been made directly from scripture.
God says the lost could repent, Calvinism says no. God commands all people everywhere to repent, Calvinism says this is only for the Elect.

On and on folks, one false claim after another. Read up on the Calvinist "T" of the TULIP. Total Spiritual Inability means unable to repent and trust in Christ. Full Stop...,

On and on folks, endless personal insults, more claims his opponent does not understand and needs to read up. Always the same mindless response...Always the same violation of forum rules, attack the poster and ignore the position, zero content which figures as it reflects your error. One false claim after another just like the false teacher of 3 John. Pathetic

I just edited together some of your greatest hits - all of which apply to you.:Thumbsup

When a professing Christian engages in gossip, it speaks volumes, not about the target of his or her attack, but about the one who ignores the commands of Christ.

LOL I think you need to look up the definition of Gossip, that post definitely was not it.

What we have here folks is a case of hypocrisy, a failure to inspect oneself and instead accuse others of doing the same thing that they themselves are doing. On and on... another off-topic effort to belittle others by the use of fallacious argumentation.

Yet another personal attack, another effort to charge me with the despicable behavior of Calvinist posters. Note Calvinists would rather engage in gossip than address biblical doctrine.

Scripture is clear, Calvinism is false.
