That is the question being looked at.
I am suggesting looking at what others see or not, in the same verses you are looking at.
It is no trick.I am trying to examine your own claims in portions of scripture that I could no longer deny.
I have asked for anyone to explain the language of rev.6.
    go for it!

I don't shy back from the interaction. I get accused of things like - all calvinists are arrogant ,calvinists and rude [rm] and I and I'm used to it.
from that respect you have people who because they cannot interact they just find it easier to try to dismiss the person rather than what is being offered by the person , the scriptures

Now, I do think amil does too much spiritualizing(that is solely my opinion and not anyone else), especially with Isaiah 65:19-25.

I find they do not attempt to get as specific as postmill writers.
They are friends overall. Many things the same.
I have a book in the truck with me,that is Amill attacking postmill, lol.
I am trying to see what are his concerns once again...I initially read it a few years ago.

The verses are pretty plain to me, a person of ordinary intelligence & education. I don't see any other meanings besides what they actually state.

Rev. 6 is the first parts of the great trib.

    ok...
    sun black
    moon blood
stars from heaven fall to the earth
heavens depart as a scroll getting rolled up
mountains move out of their places

How does anything happen after these events.
If our sun fell to the earth we would fry. This says stars plural.
How does the sky roll up like a scroll?
    Do you see the issue?

He preached the gospel of the kingdom that you and the Pharisees rejected. There is no millennium.

There is only Law and Grace. We are in grace with the Law being abolished. You are adding to scripture making it say whatever you want it to say. Play by the rules of interpretation and see where they lead.

Death riding a horse with the nether world following him. Plus, he travels 1/4 of the world on this horse.

How so? Those are the only two frameworks God deals with us in. Dispensationalism has no basis in scripture.

sackcloth was used by ancient people to observe the sun & solar eclipses, etc. Sackcloth of hair isn't completely opaque.
    Smoke/dust
    Meteors
    We'll hafta wait n see

I think I got a little ahead. The 4 horsemen are the beginnings, but the 6th seal is near the end of the trib, not long before Jesus' return. But the moon often appears as blood in the area of a smoky volcanic eruption, or the California wildfires, and that smoke can mostly obscure the sun, while everying knows "falling stars' are meteors. YOU know that, too, so please cease being obtuse about it.

Then you don't believe Scripture, which says there WILL be.

You don't know either history or Scripture too well. First, you reject plain Scripture that says there WILL be a millenium, in your previous post, and now, THIS goofy stuff. AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A BAPTIST ? ?

    lol.
you suggest I am being obtuse..
then you post the sun being dark..not literal
moon to blood....not literal, it is dust...
stars falling to the earth..not literal
heaven rolling up like a scroll.....not literal

Men are not seeming to hide in caves and under rocks, because they arelooking at an eclipse through sackcloth, or smoke is tinting the moon.

" And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
    12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
    15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
    ( Revelation 6:1-17 ).

The preceding happens during the "Great Tribulation", otherwise known as the time of Jacob's trouble ( Jeremiah 30:1-9 ).
