It is only proper hermeneutics when webdog says it is. He thinks the Lord will be serving alcohol, that which is a product of decay, in heaven. Yet the Word of God states otherwise as I have shown many times.

It's a lot better than..

If wine is mentioned in a positive light...it's welches.

If wine is mentioned in a negative light...it's evil, alcohol.

If wine is mentioned as being well aged in a good light...it must be jam

I noticed that throughout a thread you wish to deal in assumptions and generalities, and you avoid detailed questions.

When evidence is cited you don't counter with other authorities. You posit more generalities and assumptions.

The problem is that you think you're educated. You were soundly whipped by SFC concerning the chemistry of fermentation. And in your cavils you spouted ignorant drivel concerning Egyptian mummies and the ground conditions required for preservation. Let's not forget your made up and absolutely arbitrary requirement that there is only a one-to-one correspondence between biblical and modern English words when describing physical objects. Of all the preposterous subterfuge that you belch, that one just absolutely takes the cake.
