Here are the two options when it comes to abortion and politics.

Either:
1) The majority of Christians are pathetic and ignorant of Holy Spirit guidance.
2) The majority of those claiming to be Christians are deceived about what a Christian is and are not born of God.

Remember. We are talking about the murdering of babies here!!!! Not how much tax money one pays!

Christians have never been, are not now, and never, will be monolithic about politics. You can, of course, desire it all you want, and I respect that.

The very term "Christian" means a disciple of Jesus Christ. Are you giving them a pass for being disobedient to Christ?

I am surprised that you think the U.S. Constitution allows the federal government any say on abortion. Usually conservatives and libertarians support federalism.
The Constitution already recognizes ALL are given the right to life by God . We apparently need an amendment to clarify that a baby is a life.

We are all disobedient to Christ and none of us gets a pass. We are saved by the finished work of Christ. Even if a person always votes perfectly(which is impossible to know), he would still be disobedient to Christ in multiple ways.

Besides, there is nothing in the New Testament about political ideology or democracy or Democrats or Republicans.

Under the assumption that everyone on this board is saved unless they state otherwise(which I think is what the rules are for posting), I am referring to looking outward, not inward.

Whether we are taking an inward examination or an outward examination we go by what the Scripture tells us, correct?

Can we move past the interrogatories, Steaver? Is there a bottom line you are trying to get to?

I always deliberate with interrogatories. This causes us to examine ourselves and our positions. Any belief or position we take we should be able to defend with any questions which are meant to challenge that position. It makes us align ourselves with Jesus Christ, which I should hope is the goal of us all.

So the bottom line I would like you to consider is, does your vote best support the moral values of God? If you made a list of all the political issues, which issue would you place at the top as most important according to how Jesus Christ would place them. Please don't cop out and declare them all as equaly important. For example, would the killing of a baby in the womb be more important than health care or taxes according to the things Jesus taught us?

The news gets more depressing.

Sessions Says 'No Reason' To Doubt Moore Accusers...

Locals say predatory behavior no secret...

Alabama newspapers blasts as 'unfit for public office'...

Ted Cruz pulls support...

Paul Ryan: Drop Out...

I'm at the point where I want to smash this guy, being a father of 4 girls. That said, I'm open to his innocence, I just don't see how this can all be a brilliantly orchestrated conspiracy. There's too much here, and the similarities to Clinton are uncanny.

For instance can someone tell be the main difference between Clinton's accusers and Moore's accusers? What causes you to believe or disbelieve either of them?

What 30 year old signs a high school junior's yearbook?

What 30 year old signs a high school junior's yearbook:
Love, Roy Moore
?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Teachers, speakers and other visitors would sign an annual if it was handed to them.

Not sure who would sign it that way, but I'm sure some would.

Does that mean he tried to rape her?

No, not necessarily. But it adds tons of credibility to her story. Signing "Love, Roy Moore" and then a week later allegedly attempting rape.

Also adds credibility and to the tons of stories about Roy Moore, aged 30+, hitting on teenage girls. Just that alone should give anyone pause about Moore's judgment and cause them to think twice about voting for him.

Even better. He's going to stay on the ballot, no matter what.

I think Moore should stay in the race and win.

Then whatever happens, happens. :Thumbsup

I think we finally agree. (I went again and pinched myself for good measure)

No but he says he never knew her. His story gets less credibility every day.

If we're at the point of no return I hope he wins for the sake of the country. But if he's guilty I hope he's removed and replaced.
