I agree with you. But when we are repeatedly told the problem with America is one of mismatched opportunity and services, we naturally think "government program" in America. I would prefer we be charitable through the church than government. However, the poor state of many churches spiritually makes me dubious as to whether this would work.

I understand, but it's still God's way, and God is the God of Shem, which means he is not the consummate pragmatist that Japhethites imagine him to be.

I would never tell a brother or sister in Christ, who is not white to read posts here at the Baptist Board. In fact, I wouldn't recommend this site at all at this time.

I wish that a person in authority would write up a biblical response to racism and comments that exhibit racist thoughts.

Perhaps I expect too much from Baptists, given the long history of racism in American churches dominated by white leaders. Perhaps it is too much to ask from this community.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this site as a place to converse about anything political or social in nature. What I have recently read is extremely disappointing.

I will refrain from response on this thread after this initial post.

This was the OP. It is challenging the idea that anyone non-white should want to participate or even be invited, and using incendiary false premises from a very ignorantly biased viewpoint. While some of the comments may appear off topic, they demonstrate that it would be a great place to hear from those of any race who would like to participate intelligently.

I hadn't known the illegal immigration problem was taking entry level jobs so much. What you say makes sense. So many industries are complaining of too few seasonal workers despite record unemployment.

Indianapolis has thousands of low-paying jobs in warehouses. Many of the workers in the warehouses are illegal aliens. You can encounter every nationality in America in Indianapolis.
