My wife wanted a repeat of last night, so I made some more chicken, ranch mashed potatoes, and spinach.

I won't be cooking for awhile. Unfortunately I took a tumble on the ice and strained my back and my hip. My doc told me to take it easy for a wek or so, and that includes no cooking.

I'm learning to like soup and sandwiches. LOL!

Sorry to hear about your tumble. Heal up quick. ;)

Our daughter is coming out tonight, so we're having Stauffer's lasgna, garlic bread, salad, and cherry cheesecake.

I just had a month off work for free, great in one sense but a grinder disk breaking and cutting through my left hand middle finger is another thing.

    These things happen I guess.

It was made with fat-free cream cheese, fat-free Cool Whip, Splenda, and a graham cracker crust. ;) The Comstock cherries were the sweetest part and I skipped them on mine.

I'm sure the lasagna and garlic bread was bad enough with any help. :D

I usually buy the sugar free cherries, and love them, not overly sweet tasting.

I fell on the 8th and I've been laid up for a week. Went back to the Doctor this morning and he cleared me to resume normal activity. Said my back and hip are healing nicely. YAY!!! No more sandwiches.

Gonna feel good to get back in the kitchen again. Tonight is:
Roast Turkey with Dried Fruit Stuffing, Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes with Seasoned Garlic Gravy, Green Bean Casserole, and Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

it was supose to be butter beasn cooked with ham and corn bread, but the grandkids were here, so I added, corn, cheesy potatoes, and a peice of chicken for one whose really picky and wouldn't eat the ham, knew my son and his wife would by for the kids and not having eaten I cooked extras, plus pull the left over pork from church out shredded and added bbq.

My wife wanted sweet and sour chicken, so I made sweet and sour chicken. I used broccoli, cauliflower, onion, and green pepper as the veggies. I used brown rice to go with it, but she said she prefers the while rice made using chicken stock and green onions. She ate the brown rice, but politely asked me to make like I did before the next time. :D

Tonight is head-on prawns (cuz hearing kids go "ew" CAN be fun sometimes!) and sauteed Chinese eggplant and this type of veggie that I don't know the name of, just how to cook it and that it's green with little yellow flowers. There will also be Chinese sausage and Jasmine rice. Yummy!
