Typically when someone who says little comes along to say something, it's wise.

You've broken that cycle and proved it's an exception and not the rule. :love2:

Your input is anything but Christian.

    And was totally uneccesary.

Im done with this arguing crap Don. It's pointless. Brethren do not attack other brethren.

Simple questions, EWF, not arguing. Luke made a comment that indicated he believes redneck worship is somehow less than other types of worship; more than one person found his comment questionable.

Not attempting to "argue"; since you said you didn't see that Luke did anything wrong, I'm simply trying to clarify that you agree with Luke that rednecks need to work on improving how they worship. it's a simple "yes or no" thing, not an argument.

It'd be helpful if, if you agree with Luke, we turned it into a discussion to determine in what ways rednecks need to work on their worship capabilities.

EWF thanks, I may have taken it the wrong way.

My goal as a minister of the Gospel is to uphold the Blood Stained banner of Christ and declare him Lord of Lords and King of Kings. As I so often tell congregreations when I come to the pulpit, It is not about me or anyone else it is about Christ.

    Agreed.

Here's the problem with that summation:
I don't promote the idea that it was a "planned" attack; but the original poster publicly admitted that he expected vehement debate and ranting and raving by a "given group," and refers to those people as "fundy." Planned or not, it was attacking a certain group of the brethren.

    --- edited to add:
    Then there's this:
Sloppy, unorganized...but "the best those particular Christians can do".... Does that sound like brethren uplifting other brethren to you?
    -----

Thus, I find your statement about "brethren don't attack brethren" to be somewhat confusing. If you truly believe that, then why aren't you correcting Luke, like you're attempting to correct us?

Are you kidding? I rebuked Luke once, and have regretted it ever since! It only made him my enemy. (I'm not his.) And I publicaly apologized to him once, but he did not acknowledge it and the thread ended right there--with my heartfelt apology.

Nothing to work out, from my side. I apologized, he rejected. Story over.

And "Good luck" from a Calvinist?

Which is exactly why EWF won't rebuke him and do what is Scriptural. He doesn't want to lose his conditional/fairweather friend. Which really, isn't.

If you are going to make it your goal in life to assault me, at least quote me honestly.

Half thrown together worship is wickedness. The Lord deserves our best.

But someone on here said that CALVINISTS tend to be the most arrogant bunch alive so I retorted saying that it is my experience that rednecks tend to be the most arrogant bunch alive.

Have you reprimanded the one who attacked Calvinists yet?

    EWF...

Well, looks like the term "redneck" has been used to refer to both poor white farmers and coal miners, according to this redneck wikipedia article.

What state did your granddaddy work as a coal miner?

    Luke2427...

Really now--what is this all about?

Do you really believe people worshiping the Lord is wickedness?

Please explain yourself, if not to me and the members of this forum, at least explain yourself to the Lord.

    ...Bob
