For one thing - the question you are answering is about you, not your "relatives".
For another thing - the questions have "THEIR" already provided answers that you feel compelled to PICK something out of their answers.
For me, the correct answer to the question of RACE....is HUMAN....but oops, not one of "THEIR" acceptable answers.

In most states, assault is verbal or nonverbal threat or provocation. Battery is physical contact.
It's one thing to make sensational comments to a news reporter.....while not under oath..
And quite another thing to possibly called as a "witness" before the courts....

Battery is physical contact, and has different degrees, as you likely know. However, battery is first followed by a threat, where a simple (<-- the degree) assault (which can be physical contact) is the action, without first being proceeded with a threat.
I think Acuno has made it impossible for Gianforte to ever be convicted. But it sure could look like a conspiracy to sway a state election, if one were to look at things that sort of way.

And I blame Obama for that nonsense.....it serves to make people feel ...well, I will allow you to extrapolate. But I would love for Trump to eliminate that nonsense.
Walking back her story? Not quite. Walking back a detail in the story, yeah.

What she "walked back", as you say:
"You know, and I'm the one who said that," Acuna replied, "I saw both his hands go up, not around his neck in a strangling type of way, but more just on each side of his neck, just grabbed him and I guess it could've been on his clothes, I don't know."
So Gianforte did grab the reporter, he did throw him to the ground, and he did punch him.

Paul Ryan condemned it in a very carefully worded, guarded, statement.
Main point is that he physically attacked the reporter, not what grip he used to throw him to the ground.
