Jesus said that the son stayed the son, so he was never lost, just confused!
This is incoherent

Jesus said that the son stayed the son, so he was never lost, just confused!
I don't know of anyone who believes that.[/QUOTE
You really have never spoken or posted with those who hold that we have free will left to accept/reject Jesus ourselves? That seems to be the prominent modern Christian viewpoint!
The son of the parable was never spiritually lost, so not an example of a lost sinner coming to God, but of a backslidden Christian coming back to God!This is incoherent

Those holding to that view do see the ultimate basis of why saved being their own choice, and not God will, correct?Which has nothing to do with "have the capability to freely save ourselves!"
Hr never though ceased to be the fathers son. correct?Luk 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.
which if indeed are attributes of God are of necessity good things correct? No Calvinist that I am aware of teaches that though. We would see that we are now spiritual dead in our sin natures, but still in image of God in that we can still think, feel, have emotions etc!

And again, the basic choices here are that God alone saved us, or that we co assisted Him to save us!Nope, the ultimate reason is Jesus died on the cross.
How so?No but you are taking that parable to far.
And again, the basic choices here are that God alone saved us, or that we co assisted Him to save us!
Humans are still a special creation of God, its just that we no longer have the means within us to come to God on our own, to trust in Him by ourselves, as our fallen sin natures are now enemies of God!
God never did save us based upon us choosing Him first though, as sinners cannot do that anymore, since the Fall!No it's not. God chose to give us a choice. His plan, His design for salvation. He didn't have to do it that way but He did. If He designed that plan then your point is moot and really rather sophomoric.
ALL who are not found in Christ are sinners and thus impure, correct? You say we are enemies of God, Does that mean all mankind is unholy and unclean?
Whatever you say, lets say yes, does that mean all mankind is unholy and unclean?ALL who are not found in Christ are sinners and thus impure, correct?
In the spiritual sense, Yes, all of those not now saved in Christ!Whatever you say, lets say yes, does that mean all mankind is unholy and unclean?
