The dead believers in the coming Messiah were in Abrahams Besom, as none of them could enter heaven until Jesus provided them the means to enter in by His death and resurrection!

How many more times do I have to show you how wrong you are? The Atonement was applied in Eternity and is therefore Eternal.

And Ecc makes it very clear the OT saints when UPWARD to God.

It borders on blasphemy to suggest that God is limited to time. He is NOT limited by time. He TRANSCENDS time! If He doesn't, He is not God!

i am not saying that God is limited by time, but that the scriptures do state to us that Jesus took them out who were being held there, and emptied it out and took them back to heaven when he arose!

Satan was not in the presence of God after he sinned. That is error from Job, God is still in control on earth.

He said He was going to...
    Luk 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preachdeliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight tothe blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

    This verse says He did
    1Pe 3:18

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
    1Pe 3:19
    By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

Yes. The lost people who were in captivity to sin. Not some stupid invented "Protestant Purgatory."

Yes, the Spirit of Christ preached through the Prophet Noah to those who were alive in Noah's day but were dead and in hell in Peter's day. Context. Context. Context.

The application of the Blood in Heaven outside of time has no implication of expanding God mercy, throughout time.
The plan of Salvation had to happen as God willed it. If one can go to Heaven without Christ's death, then why die at all.

He was long suffering while Noah built the Ark. The unrighteous are not in the conversation because they were not in Paradise

man's error from misapplying verse from Job

Do you think he would be allowed back Heaven?

    Eze 28:16

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

We are all within the authority of God,

    Job 1:6

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
    Job 1:7

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
    Job 2:1

Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
    Job 2:2

And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it

Satan was here. Neither verse says in Heaven.

Yes. First of all he is talking about spiritual gifts, not "Protestant Purgatory."

7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Then he talks about the ascension.

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

After His crucifixion he ascended up into heaven and led the captivity of sin captive to His Perfect Sacrifice, which allowed Him to give Spiritual Gifts to saved people.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

And, of course, prior to the ascension, he was in the grave, the "lower parts of the earth."

The Gospel is "He died on the cross, was BURIED (lower parts of the earth) and rose again, and ascended into Heaven.

You don't need a Catholic myth to understand the bible. Just believe what it says. Don't add a bunch of nonsense to it!

A total non-sequitur having nothing to do with the discussion.

Nobody has said anyone can go to heaven without Christ's death. The blood, sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in Heaven, was the proof of His Sacrifice. And that proof exists in Eternity.

you seem to have a problem with time in eternity.
The accepted sacrifice is our "paid debt" in order to access Heaven. not before, not if Mary touched him.

We know it was accepted by being a Christian.

Paradise is not in the conversation either. No mention of it in either the Eph passage or the passage from Peter.

But when "paradise" actually appears in the bible we know that all three times it refers to Heaven.

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

2 Co 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

This is talking about Grace, given to all, even those He descended into the lower parts of the earth to tell.

It is either us or the dead in Pardise

Paradise was complete at the Crucifixion . Jesus used it in Luke but it is not used as a place but an adjective of Heaven.

We know it existed but we go directly to Heaven now.

No, it is you who thinks God is limited by time. Time does not exist in Eternity. That is what "eternity" means. "Outside of time."

Yes, we know that. And it is valid "from the foundation of the world." And Mary was told not to cling to Him because He had to go away or the Comforter could not come.

    Not at issue. Another non-sequitur.
