Does God allow Divorce Today?

    Is someone who sinned by Divorcing his wife, then in a state of habitual sinning, even if they have confessed to god that sin?

    We must repent from sin to receive forgiveness. God's elect will do this. But the reprobate will not.

    We receive forgiveness for all sins--past and future--when we believe and Christ Jesus justifies us.

    Would divorce cause a Christian than to lose salvation, and become unsaved again?

    I see. So I "do" something, namely repent, and my sins are forgiven. That's works based salvation. That's synergism.

    What must a Christian due who either divorced his wife, or else married a divorced woman, in order to stay saved then?

    Not at all, Jesus says we must forgive to be forgiven. But the monergism factor is, God works in us to repent. And if this doesn't happen we have no evidence of salvation. Whatever is born again overcomes.

    ALL sins are paid for by the death of Jesus on our behalf, so again, other than rejecting jesus to save us, what sin overcomes the blood and death of Jesus than?

    Once married as an unbeliever or believer, you are married until death breaks the marriage bond. Any subsequent marriage is adultery to be repented of. Not only for your sake, but for the sake of the adulterous second wife too.

    But, if Jesus died for you, you will overcome sin. If you do not, Jesus did not die for you. You only think he did without a lifestyle to prove it.

    The term there refers to a habitual sinner, one who is not saved but just professing jesus!
