Like saying all humans are persons. Look in history. Prior to 1500 there was never a separation made.

The earliest protestant and reformers actually attempt to take the name.

"The word of God is NOT our final Authority"

    Just meditate on that awhile.........................

"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not complicated. Men seeking power over the people are the ones who make up hoops to jump through.

    Eph 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    Eph 2:9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Eph 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    Strawman.

WORD does not mean WRITING ONLY.

^Meditate on that for few hours please.

You guys had the easiest job of all. Put up scripture you claim exist.

But since it was built on a LIE. You have nothing to put up.

You can't even tell us the truth about it, out of shame.

Does scripture teach that scripture is the final and only authority?

    Show us the verse?

Ok. Is the word of God our final Authority?

If we do, will you accept the word of God is our final Authority?

We have shown scripture, explained scripture, and exhorted you all with Scripture. To no avail.

I gave a solid exegetical answer to the realities in John 6 and you want to cling to this idea that wine and bread magically turn into blood and flesh. Yea, you're a pagan, simple as that.

A plain reading of the text makes it very simple: Christ is the source for spiritual life. It is that simple. He's not even talking about "the Eucharist" or "Communion."

WORD of GOD is Jesus Christ.

WORD of GOD is NOT scripture alone.

    John 1

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

This does not mean in the beginning was SCRIPTURE and the SCRIPTURE was with GOD and the SCRIPTURE was God.

If you think scripture is GOD the highest authority then let me see you worship scripture.

A plain reading of the text tells us what Jesus said to do to worship Him correctly. Do you do this? Does your church teach this?

"And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them ready to depart on the marrow," Acts 20:7

"The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" 1 Corinthians 10:16.

"And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me." Luke 22:19.

"After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me." 1 Corinthians 11:25.

That my friend is what worship is all about - the altar and the sacrifice.

John 6 is NOT talking about communion. His bread of life discourse Is talking about Him being the source for LIFE.

Notice your communion passages say "do this in REMEMBRANCE of Me." That should clue you in to the fact that it is a memorial, a reminder of the death of Christ. Paul said we are "Proclaiming the Lord's death until He comes."

Worship is all about obedience rooted in faith, Check out Romans 12:1.

There is only one truth, not individual truths that people can come to discern by themselves. For example, there are some Christian faith traditions that use grape juice during communion time. Now there is only one truth about this and that is that wine, the fermented fruit of the vine is the element that is to be used - it says this clearly and unequivocally in the Scriptures. Grape juice is the unfermented fruit of the vine and is and has always been known as grape juice and is not the element that should be used during any communion service. Wine is wine, and grape juice is grape juice.

Now, if people insist on using grape juice by their reading of the Scriptures, they have made a grave error in their discernment of the written word. They have not found a "truth", but a falsehood. The "New Wine" which they claim is what they use and is non alcoholic is another falsehood. Even "New Wine" contains alcohol - the name "wine" means alcoholic. If it contains no alcohol, it is plain old grape juice and not what Jesus used at the Passover Seder.

Yes, the ultimate memorial, the re-presentation of the sacrifice on Calvary. That is what gives us all eternal life, the sacrifice and Jesus wanted that front and center of our Christian lives. That is what has been practiced since day one of the newly formed Christian faith - the sacrifice, the altar.

St. Paul is clear: "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body," (1 Cor. 11:29). "Not discerning the Lords body"? Jiminy cricket! That tells us everything we need to know about this. Jesus said it and St. Paul confirmed it - next issue.

of all things to be dogmatic about, you choose wine vs. grape juice? Are they both not "fruit of the vine?"

Matthew 26:29 I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until the day when I drink it anew with you in My Father's kingdom."

Sir, No, physically eating bread and drinking wine does NOT give you eternal life!

Your understanding of the passage is flawed and incorrect. Would you like me to break it down for you? will you be open to a breakdown?

No thanks, I've heard a likewise spiel before. I never said that simply receiving Holy Communion gives me eternal life as the Christian way is much more than one thing, it encompasses many things as the Scriptures so clearly point out. Having faith, good works, prayer, and to me following the sacraments in order to live a holy and pleasing life to God.

I am simply an orthodox Christian and my belief's are orthodox in nature, while yours are not and come from a man named John Smyth who started the Baptist belief system sometime in the 1600's. We have no common doctrine, but only a belief that a man named Jesus Christ died and rose again to offer us forgiveness from our sins and thus eternal life.

Let's not try and get smart shall we? (See the last sentence from my previous post). I would advise you however that for the full measure of Christianity that you embrace orthodoxy, either the Latin Rite or the Eastern Orthodox faith tradition.
