No. But if you disagree, please provide your evidence.

Even in the impeachment articles they voted on they didn't include extortion, so I'm curious what you know that the Democrats didn't. Please share.

No it's not really moot. The fact that you openly admit other presidents did this and that you never complained about it is peculiar. If you really believed it was a crime, why didn't you speak up? Why all of the sudden now?

Is refusing to provide congressional approved funding unless a person does what the President demands not a form of extortion?

Second, you have no idea what I believe should have happened with Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton. The fact that all overstepped their legal role as President and should have been censored and called out seems irrelevant to you.

God will either keep Trump as President or He will cast him down. Either way, God will be executing His perfect plan to bring all his elect to salvation before He comes back and casts down the kingdoms of men.

Actually no. It would be stupid for the US to give money away without something in return. Would you consider it immoral to refrain from given money to a friend unless he promised to stop doing drugs?

    The whole premise is silly.

So, please clear up the record. Did you complain, specially, about extortion which you claim was normative with past presidents?

Indeed. God will either allow you to see the error of your ways, or He'll allow you to continue in your delusion that you're morally superior to Trump. I can only pray for the former.

This is what they, the worldly Christians, finally get angry at?

I denounced Trump as being a type of Antichrist when he personally proclaimed ('tweeted') titles given to him by an heretical Dominionist which called him: the 'second coming of God' and 'king of Israel'.
Then later, to solidify his Satanic stance against God, when asked about dealing with China, Trump looked upward and jokingly called himself the 'chosen one'.

Trump is the leader we deserve, I firmly believe he is God's judgment on us.
And if it had been a progressive Democrat, then that may have been the end of us.
Either way, there is no 'winning' in this life for true Christians, and our absolutely corrupt government.

Yeah, I mean everyone knows God punishes a nation by improving its economy, building its walls. <eye-roll>

And of course, being the most pro-life president in our nation's history, is cause for grave concern.

    Any other genius insights?

Was the Ukrainian President doing drugs? Had the US already agreed, by contract, to supply the resources?
Does what a political rival's son is doing give the President the legal right to withhold money that is already legally bound to that nation?
This is not about political party's. This is about legal precedence.

It's not likely since we have the transcript and know for a fact it did not happen.

I once saw a bird, still as a statue, just sitting and looking into some bushes. Watched it for maybe 2 minutes with absolutely NO movement, twitch or flutter. This was from an upstairs room, some 75+/- ft from the bird.
Went downstairs & checked from a different angle, showed my wife, and we both were astounded that this bird was SO engrossed. Thought perhaps it saw a snake or such & was overly curious but afraid to venture further to investigate. Watched & observed for another 5 or so minutes with no change. Finally decided to ease out there & see if the bird was perhaps dead. Noticed as I approached there was still NO movement. When I got close enough, I realized that this BIRD was nothing more than a bit of dried leaves, sticks etc that looked like a bird until I got close enough to see detail!!

This experience, to me, is virtually identical to people who see the death knell of Trump in the so called "quid pro quo" but have neglected to check further into reality than the squalling & screaming of the "FAKE NEWS" & the oily, squirmy dimocrats.

May only historians and/or archaeologists even know the term "DEMOCRAT" after the 2020 elections!!!

See the comment below. Is it wrong to bear false witness and accuse a president of something he didn't do? I've given you plenty of chances to offer evidence for your accusation. Do you not realize this is a top 10 sin?

It is wrong for a Christian to support an unrepentant Christian and not call that person to repentance. Christianity Today did the right thing.
I have given you plenty of evidence regarding our President's unrepentant heart. Do you realize your silence in this matter is a top 10 sin?

There is absolutely no evidence of that. It us a twisting of the facts. However had he actually done that there is still no problem with attaching requirements to funding.

That and we do not convict someone, in this country, on what politically biased people believe is likely to have happened. Those who believe that do so only because they want it to be true regardless of the facts. Which is a sin.

    Nope.
I'm saying that a man who claims to be a member of the body of Christ, yet acts like a son of the devil is to be disciplined by the church.
The evil use of Twitter and the ungodly treatment of those who oppose President Trump is evidence of an unrepentant man who ignores the reality that he will soon stand before the King of Kings and be held accountable. It is wrong for the church to stay silent when a Christian sullies the name of the King.
This is a matter for the church to handle.

Yes, you avoided my attack on Trump for only jokingly proclaiming himself to be god.

For that, we only jokingly get the man who is pure Antichrist in nature.

We get what we deserve, only jokingly an Antichrist, because this nation is only jokingly anti-Christ.

Wrong on all counts. No, the president is not held to different national legal standards based on his personal religion.

What other presidents have done in the past and how it was viewed is called precedent and thus matters immensely.

And no, President Trump did not bribe, extort, or do anything else criminal, or even abuse his power, in requesting help from the President of Ukraine in seeking to deal with American-Ukrainian political corruption and interference in US elections.

Yes it does, when the President says he is a Christian.
This is precisely why Christianity Today is within its right to call out the President and call for his removal. The President has claimed his submission to the King of Kings, yet he acts in ways that disrespect the King. We, the church are citizens of the Kingdom of God. We don't stay silent when a member disrespects the King.

Galli didn't watch the same impeachment proceedings I did. If everything said in the impeachment articles were true, it would not justify removing him from office. This is nothing but a hit piece written by a Democrat partisan. And we should remember that Trump is our commander in chief, not the nation's pastor.

Yes, he is the President whom God has placed in that position. Like David, I will not disparage the ruler. I, like David, will also not call Saul a godly man. Donald Trump is called to repentance. He should repent. God may continue to keep him as President, just as God kept Saul as King for a season. I will rest in the truth that God will do what he chooses to do.
