Should they be removed on moral grounds?

Until they get married, they should not live together... In our church a single preacher could not visit a single female... That is why it is good for preachers to marry... It may be innocent but it is the appearance to outside world... What does scripture say about moral grounds?... Avoid ALL appearance of evil!... Then there is this!... Talking about a sensual burning... Brother Glen:)

1 Corinthians 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

If they should be removed on moral grounds isn't it legalism?

How about those great heros of the faith who were sawn apart, wandering around poor and hungry> Not enough faith or revelation knowledge?

Nope, I am just applying biblical discipline, as those who say are living together in sin and yet still still claim to be Christians need to get married or break apart, in order to make their profession valid! A Church must not allowing known gross sinning to be ongoing without reaching out towards those involved in an attempt to reconcile them back to God and to the Church body!

I am just suggesting that the couple needs to stop shacking up or else get married to make it legit, and need to not be in leadership until issue resolved!

Church discipline must be done, but with intent to have the wandering person restored!
problem is that churches today refuse to do anything, allow anything, or punish them to point of just having them turn away from church and God!

Paul removed someone in gross immorality, was He a legalist?

Nonsense! Read the verses where faith has healed them. Don't confuse between desire and faith!

He didn't do it on moral grounds as if he was morally perfect. You have misinterpreted him.

Is your suggestion made on moral grounds?

Are you reconciled to God by your sinlessness?

Have you repented of your state of "not being sinless" before God?

First follow biblical discipline by being perfect as the Father is perfect. Then you can go around preaching!

It is just God children who have gone astray... Its not a death sentence but leaders should know better... There are rules that need to be obeyed for the peace of the church, no body in church does their own thing... I don't know about other churches, I can only tell you about mine but if you have a disorderly church, you are in trouble... Our natural parents discipline us and for good reason, if they are loving parents... If my parents disciplined me on moral grounds, is that legalism?... Brother Glen:)

Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

And if you think there is any joy in removing someone from church you have the wrong attitude, it is soul/heart wrenching duty the church MUST perform and there is no joy in it, and it MUST be done in love!!!

Have you read the ones there who were poor and sick and destitute wandering around with any material goods, but still rich in faith?

I have never claimed that, but also know that God commands that His people do need to exercise spiritual discipline at times in the body!
