No, you are lying about what we have said about those passages. In what way did God love the world? That is the question. There is common grace and there is saving grace. John 3:16 only shows God doing something for those who believe, the elect. We are not saying that world is not the human race, but even human race does not mean every individual.

First of all it is not ad hominem to call out a pattern of lying. Yet I find it interesting you do not call out @SavedByGrace when he engages in ad hominem. You lose all credibility.

John 3:16 does not say or imply any limitation of God's love to the elect only. "Whosoever" is not complicated.

You should be ashamed of yourself for continuing to distort the Bible

I find SBG's responses in kind equally regrettable. But there are deeper roots in the constant denigration of those who do not find the Reformed position in their Bibles. It's a strong and consistent pattern, just take a look at this board.

Calling out a pattern would focus on the content of posts, and demonstrate that they are false. Impugning a fellow believer's character is not that. Matthew 7:1-2.

Because it is very shameful that these reformed continue to distort the teaching of the Bible.

In my view "speaking the truth to one another in love" is something different than arguing using personal remarks and insinuations. Any unbeliever can do the latter.

Well, I'm not the Lord and I'm pretty sure you're not either. John 5:22.

Where does God say "the entire human race" in John 3:16? You are reading your interpretation into the verse. Please address Gerstner, since you created the topic. It is interesting to watch you now avoid the topic.

You still have never answered my question.
    Is God just?

It doesn't say "Whosoever" it says "Whosoever believeth"

Then your sheer bias is showing to think that others are any less so.

This is an off-topic question. It's not what Gerstner was asked.
You are reading your bias into the Bible. Please try again.

    SBG,
According to the Bible itself, people are not put off the Christian faith because of their hearing things that seem outlandish to them.

They are put off the Christian faith because they inherently reject God's words ( Romans 1:30-32, Romans 3:10-18, John 3:19-20, John 8:43-47, etc. ).
This is also what God says in His word:

" The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man."
    ( Psalms 5:5-6 ).

" The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth." ( Psalms 11:5 )

" These six [things] doth the Lord hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him:
17 a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 a false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
    " ( Proverbs 6:16 ).

    Yes, SBG...
According to these and many more, the Lord does indeed actually hate the sinner, not just the sin.
And according to many, man does indeed hate God and starts out life doing so.

No if a member constantly lies about what was or was not said that makes him a liar. That is not an ad hominem attack at that point it is a statement of demonstrable fact.

Why did the early church not declare the term "trinity?"
    Your question is irrelevant.

Can saints actually stare at people in hell? Please provide scripture.
