None of these verses show that infants are somehow born sinless. They show that they are born without actually having committed any sins, and have not acquired the knowledge of how to commit them.

I no longer get involved in long acrimonious discussions on this board; I have made my contribution and others may make of them what they will; but, briefly, I direct you first to Psalms 51:5 and then to Romans 3:23 and to Romans 5:12-21.

then the verses in the OP that clearly show that there is a time in the life of the infant, which is only known to God, that they are not "sinners", as they have not "committed" any sin. This is the case with the son of David, which the Bible says went to heaven after his death, where David joined him after his death. Verses like Romans 3:23 have no bearing on this, because this verse speaks of people who are "sinners", but those like David's son, are clearly not. There is no other way that David's son could be in heaven. The specualtion of Spurgeon, is no more than just that.

That is where the OT saved went to after they died, but now straight to heaven after Jesus ascension!

that is only if you don't accept the verses in the OP, as stated. there does not seem to be any other way in understanding Isaiah and Romans

All are physically born lost in Adam, must be reborn into Christ to get saved!

Are we sinners because we sin? Or do we sin because we are sinners?

Really? That's not what it says. It says all have sinned. Not sure how you twist that.

The verses in the OP have nothing to do with it.

First of all, no you are not. Second, it does not say that. That is what you have interpreted it to say, and I will also say so have many others, but you have to be at least honest enough to say that is not explicitly what it says and you are making an inference from the text based on your position.

I have and I have read the verses. None of those verses say the children did not sin.
