    Found a web page that stated the US homicide rate is: 535 homicides per 1.5 million inhabitants
    (bold my emphasis)

    Wow 535 is a lot - but lets put that in perspective = less than 1 per thousand.
    ( did I figure that correctly - if not please correct me)

    This link states that in 2019 (in the USA) that in 2019 there were 13,927 murders.
    26% were by a weapon that was NOT a firearm. That 26% = 3,669.

    No, that is not what it shows at all. It shows that there are some people who use things for evil. That is all, nothing less, nothing more.

    13.8 per 100,000 here 10 per 100,000 in the UK. Both are less than 1%, what is your point?

    I started to write an extensive reply - but I don't want to hijack this thread
    so please go here for that answer. What should we do about Suicides
    It is a thread that ALL Christians need to present to their church

    and YES SBG - there are MANY Americans, as well as British citizens who are depressed
    But we have the answer in our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

    The ball is NOW in the court of our Evangelical Bible believing churches.

    They were white supremacy racists and bigots, sinners who acted out, but should we outlaw all cars and trucks then based upon drunks killing tens of thousands while driving every year?

    THIS is what God desires

    He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war, Isaiah 2:4

    He shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide for strong nations far away; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore, Micah 4:3

    Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”, Joel 3:10

    Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword., Matthew 26:52

    Now give ONE Scripture that says a Christian can own a gun
