Evidence from Kamala Harris' own words suggests that she is a Marxist or at least follows Marxist ideas. Some of her campaign slogans are Marxist slogans.

I do not support abortion as a means of birth control. I do not support forced transgender surgeries on anyone, young or old.

I do not know how to make myself any clearer.

    You are too emotional ken.

Yes, if Trump says he will support adults harming children or any demonic agenda then supporting Trump...even for another agenda....is anti-Christian.

I am unaware of Trump saying such a policy, but I wouldn't put it past him.

The GOP is the greater danger because the DNC is overtly demonic while the GOP wears sheep's clothes.

But simply because I don't vote doesn't mean I am all of a sudden without a Christian voice.

Do I believe a Christian can support Harris? I don't know. I know they couldn't in good conscious because it would be supporting murdering children. But Christians can deny their faith by their actions.

I apologize, Logos1560. Jon and I have dragged your thread on immigration policy far afield from the subject you intended to have discussed here.

You support THE GOVERNMEMT allowing abortion regardless of reason and parents gender transitioning minor children (as young as toddlers....before it is truly their informed decision).

I don't know about Harris, but Walz is a "democrat socialist".

One of the main issues with Harris is the role she claims government should take in the lives of its citizens.

The government is already too big, IMHO.

Giving the US federal government even more power over its citizens is a bad idea. Giving the government the authority to determine what is right and penalizing speech it deems wrong is a very dangerous path.

Creating a society that is more dependent on government is also dangerous.

So did you pray for God's will in deciding between Trump and Harris?

You are absolutely correct. He supports Harris, KNOWING what she believes/supports. I believe, he knows exactly what you are saying is right and you have poked his conscience. You have called him out as a Christian should do and he doesn't like it.

I'm a little confused by your response. Maybe you can clarify.

So does that mean you support abortion when not used as a means for birth control?
So does that mean you you support transgender surgeries on anyone, young or old, as long as they are not forced?

Yea....I don't buy the "I'm not supporting the government requiring hospitals to offer abortions even though I am supporting the government requiring hospitals to offer anortions" argument.

Ken knows he is talking about supporting the government requiring states and hospitals to allow abortions, allowing parents to gender transition pre-teen children, censorship over free speech, and expanding federal government power over US citizens.

He talks like he doesn't realize these are things Harris says she will do because these things are not as important to him as other issues.

But @KenH is an intelligent man. I don't know if he is trying to ease his conscious, but in the end he knows he is supporting Harris' whole platform by supporting her in the election. He isn't stupid.

One of the first things I begin the day with is to pray for God's will to be done - for me, for everyone, for everything.

Let's cut to the chase. This is how I try to view governmental issues:

"The state therefore has two natural functions, functions essential to the existence of any peaceful, ordered society: to protect the rights of citizens against violent or fraudulent assault, and to judge in conflicts of right with right. It has a further third function, which is another aspect of the first, that is, to protect its citizens from assault by foreign powers. These three functions are expressed by three powers: the police power, which protects the citizen against domestic violence; the military power, which protects the citizen against violence from abroad; and the courts of law, which judge between rights and rights, as well as sharing with the police power the protection of the citizen against domestic violence.

But since this institution must possess a monopoly of legal physical force, to give to it in addition any further power is fraught with danger; that monopoly gives to the state so much power that its natural functions should be its maximum functions."

So it was God's will for you as a Christian to vote for Harris?

Still confused by your response. Your response does not answer my question to clarify what you wrote as far about abortion and transgender surgeries. Maybe this time you can actually answer my questions to what you actually wrote. Again:

So does that mean you support abortion when not used as a means for birth control?
So does that mean you you support transgender surgeries on anyone, young or old, as long as they are not forced?

I haven't voted at all at this point. November 5 is still 7 weeks away. I don't know what will happen over the next 7 weeks. Preferably, Christ would return and put an end to this present heavens and earth and replace it with the new heavens and earth wherein dwells righteousness. But the Bible does not say on what date Christ will return. So I wait expectantly.

There is no warrant in the U.S. Constitution for the federal government to be involved in the issue of abortion or the issue of transgenderism(or just about any other issue). Thus, those issues that the federal government has not been given explicit power by the U.S. Constitution to be involved in are left up to the individual states(unless expressly prohibited to the states by the U.S. Constitution) and their state constitutions, or to the people.

The Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

You are welcome. If I thought you were not intelligent I wouldn't have bothered questioning why you could support somebody who says she will do the things if elected you do not like. I'd have just chalked it up to you not being intelligent. :Tongue
