Palestinians, Israel

I can't understand how Christians can look at some of the footage here of the land obliterated and then soften it with, "Well, only 2.5% were killed". Do they not have eyes? Do they think this is CG?

They are so invested in their fiction of Israel being God's special people. It goes beyond cognitive dissonance.

You are confused here.

Did we say Israel is right because they "are God's special people"?

No. You thrust that narrative out there.

How can you, as a Christian, look at the terroristic actions of the Palestinian government and say "Israel should just let it be"?

The Palestinian government murdered Israeli civilians (Jews and Palestinians). This was the most Jews murdered since the Holocaust.

I can understand why Israel would defend itself and determine that the Palestinian government, whose primary ideology is genocide, has to go.

I cam mourn with both the Jews and the Palestinians. You cannot.

Here is my question. @asterisktom and I think it will help others understand your position (it has nothing to do "Israel as a secular nation is God's people).

On Oct 7 the Palestinian government entered Israel, murdered approximately 1,200 people and kidnapped 251 (mostly civilians). The Palestinian government launched attacks from civilian apartment buildings and civilian structures. Their military was housed in schools and hospitals. This is the government the Palestinian people had chosen.

What do you believe Israel should have done?

What should the US do if attacked in the same way?

To begin with, the whole Oct 7 narrative is false. The truth about this must first be established in this discussion. There are way too many clues that show that this was a false flag. For one thing, Netanyahu was warned about this attack and did nothing.

Probably 600,000 Palestinians have been murdered since Oct 7th . A city of 2 million people that was surrounded by barbed wire fences. The Israelis were warned by Egypt and a Gulf country what was going down. Charlie Kirk knew about the Netananyahu stand down order for 6 hours and that you can get anywhere in Israel by chopper in 45 minutes . So why did Israel order a stand down order for 6 to 8 hours? We know why. The Palestinians only have rag tag home made weapons. Netananyahu has jet aircraft, the Palestinians none. Netananyahu has Apache helicopters, the Palestinians none. Netananyahu has heavy tanks and armoured personnel carriers, the Palestinians none. But the real damage was 2000# bombs dropped buy fighter bombers on every building in the city of Gaza destroying all infrastructure. Charlie Kirk was killed because he became America first and not Israel first. The true Jews know this secular apartheid regime is not from God . The Arab Jews that have always lived there that is. They protest what Israel does to their Semitic Palestinians brothers.

Not confused at all. I was being pre-emptive against certain members who have told me exactly that, both online and in messaging. I am not broad-brushing everyone.

Most of your post here is insulting. I am not interested in mere soapboxing with you.

Jusy like in the previous thread, the core problem - and this includes you too - is in not using a wide spectrum of sources.

@asterisktom,
You did not answer @JonC's question.
Do you believe the events of October 7th are a myth. If so, please tell us how. If Netanyahu was warned of the attack (and that establishes that there was an attack), do you think that excuses the Palestinians? The USA had warnings about Pearl Harbour; does that excuse the Japanese?

But both of you are missing the point. The Palestinians (or at least, their government) want the Israelis out of Israel; the Israelis (or at least, their government) want the Palestinians out of Palestine. There needs to be reconciliation, and that IMO will not happen until the Gospel comes in power to the region.

I do not get into conspiracy theories (Israel killed its own people, the US destroyed the trade centers, the earth is flat, we necer landed on the moon, Elvis is alive, etc).

Conspiracy theoriests are the worst kind of sheeple. No amount of facts can move them from their position.

I am not sure Israel want the Palestinians out of Gaza as much as that want peace between the two people.

Jews and Palestinians live together in Israel (Palestines make up 22% of Israel's population). Israel had the right (militarily) to keep Gaza (their victory when attacked in 1969). They were content to return conquered land in exchange for peace.

I think the massacre was a last straw. Israel knows the fact that Gaza will not be content until Israel is destroyed.

The settlers are steadily pushing the Palestinians out of the West Bank, and they could not be doing so without the consent, or at least the acquiescence, of the Israeli government.

They are. Israel captured the West Bank (from Jordan), Gaza (from Egypt), and the Golan Heights (from Syria) in 1967.

Israel left Gaza, but I doubt they will abandon the West Bank or the Golan Heights(for strategic reasons).

You really do not know what is going on there. The West bank is for the Palestinians. But Israel has been steadily building settlements there now they outnumber or are close to the Palestinians in numbers. Adelson gave Trump a hundred million and wants him to say the West Bank is Israel's. In other words no homeland for the Palestinians. The Palestinians are being kicked out of The land they and and their grandparents and their grandparents were born in before there was an Israel until 1948. You have stolen their ancestral homeland and offered them nothing but death . You yourself knows that when Israel declared itself a nation the Jews made Palestinians go to The Gaza strip, but now you are committing Genocide in Gaza to steal all the land for Israel. The West Bank and The Gaza Strip were to be the Palestinians homeland, Israel the rest. But the Greedy Billionaires want to destroy the remainder of Palestinians and take everything. Muslims Christians and Jews all got along there. Now they are being wiped out as a people by the godless Billionaires Globalist.

I know these things. I remember the Six Day War very well. You are still missing the point. The Israelis are pushing the Palestinians out of the West Bank. That is not genocide, but it is ethnic cleansing. The Germans called it Lebensraum.

I somewhat agree. But at the same time I do not have much sympathy.

Israel conquered the West Bank. Palestinians in the West Bank do not want Israel there. Not only that, a significant portion of the West Bank Palestinians do not want Israel to exist at all. Most Palestinians are opposed to a two state solution.

I feel sorry for the people, just as I felt sorry for the Serbs and Croats. They are victims of their ideology.
