Joe Biden’s “Path Out of the Pandemic”

JonC, please notice my comment is specifically in reference to asking Earth, Wind, and Fire about what he means by damage. Neither does your comment does not cover the way I expressed what I said about what a person feels they have do, regardless of whether you or I think that is what they have...

Joe Biden’s “Path Out of the Pandemic”

All of it. In what sense do you mean? For example, enough damage for people to wake up and do something? I'd agree. Damage to someone's health who for medical reasons should not take the Covid-vax but feels forced into doing so in order to keep putting food on the family table? Nah, can't go...

Joe Biden’s “Path Out of the Pandemic”

I would hope so, but even so, one problem is how much damage can be done before things are settled in court.

    Fundamental Baptist Biographies

I cannot tell you much, but here are a few bits. Joshua Gravett was born in England in 1863; came to the US circa 1886. For many years he was pastor of Galilee Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado. He died in 1956 and is buried at the Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, Denver County, Colorado.

Availability of the third booster shot

Question for information. You guys can debate if you want to. What is the third covid vaccine dose that is already being given? I read that the FDA OK'ed the third dose of Pfizer and and Moderna vaccines, with a plan to roll them out by September 20. Today I saw an article that says...

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

Jon, none of your post # 18 directly addresses the issue of your narrowing the definitions to only mean what you say they mean when you want them to mean what you want them to mean. One time you know the difference; next time there is no difference. That way no one can pin you down. What...

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

You could be more clear by not making up your own definitions. Even in the context of covid, pro-vaxxer and anti-vaxxer does not mean just those who want to have their way.

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

So, to be clear Jon, you are saying that you are using pro-vaxxer and anti-vaxxer defined as individuals who want to decide what other people do about being vaccinated? Yet you agreed with me when I said all pro-vaxxers and anti-vaxxers do not believe that? It is no wonder we have difficulty...

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

Jon, feel free to use words any way you want to, but also don't be surprised if you confuse people when you do. However, the "context" of what I am talking about is that you made a reply to what I said about definitions with a general statement that all -vaxxers do or believe this or that --...

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

May be... but the context of what I wrote that you quoted in post # 8 (as well as what I previously posted before that) was the actual definition of the terms, as opposed to how they are loosely used in the covid vaccine debate.

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

No, everyone who is opposed to vaccinations (either some or all) does not necessarily care whether others get vaccinated; and everyone who favors vaccinations (either some or all) does not necessarily care whether others do not get vaccinated. Some just live and let live.

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

According to some sources, a "pro-vaxxer" is an individual who supports and advocates for vaccination, especially a parent who wants to have a child vaccinated. Interestingly, a number of dictionaries that have "anti-vaxxer" do not even include "pro-vaxxer". In searching for pro-vaxxer, I...

Anti vax totalitarianism is a myth

I think there is also somewhat of a problem with the terminology "anti-vaxxer". Most dictionaries have something like this: This is pretty consistent in all dictionaries that I checked, except Merriam-Webster, which adds, "a person who opposes...laws that mandate vaccination." My main point is...

    What is a ministry

I agree. We should not charge people to attend church, any ministries/services we host, and should not look to others outside our church to support the work of our church.

    Pro-vax and Anti-vax Totalitarianism

Please do. Thanks. Jon, sometimes your responses just seem strange, like you are trying to redirect the conversation or something. You write as if you are disagreeing with my saying that viruses and vaccinations are politics. However, I did not say that. Yet, I think neither you nor I would...
