    ONLY The Originals Are Inspired

I am not sure whether this was deliberate misdirection or a misunderstanding. Either way, Michael Kruger does not deny orthodoxy or think it is heresy. Both the link above and his co-authored book on the subject prove the charge by TurtleSox against him is wrong.

    KJV's Textual Error

The title page of the 1611 translation contains the following information, which can be viewed HERE. The Holy Bible, Conteyning the Old Testament and the New: Newly Translated out of the Originall tongues: & with the former Translations diligently compared and revised, by the Majesties special...

    ONLY The Originals Are Inspired

You are under no obligation to share anything, but you are the one who brought it up. I would think anyone who thinks it is that important would at least go to the trouble to share a link instead of sending someone off looking for one. I am not a "fan" of TGC, neither do I read anything there...

    ONLY The Originals Are Inspired

My "no thanks" is that I am not intending to chase down why you think TGC is not credible when you can just say why you think so. I do not question Ehrman's scholarship, and I accept his statement that he is not a Christian. I am not sure that it would be considered unusual for non-Christians...

    ONLY The Originals Are Inspired

I know what I think about Ehrman, but I was trying to give you his answer. That seems to be the way he describes his becoming a Christian. Not sure he ever claims he knew Christ, so far as I can tell. Our churches are filled with people who are doing but not knowing. I'll not go further down...

    ONLY The Originals Are Inspired

No thanks. For now I'll trust Michael Kruger, who professes to be a Christian, over Bart Ehrman, who has denied the faith.

Does the New Testament Quote Itself?

Some have suggested that 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 might reference Matthew 11:25-26. I'm not sure I see it. Any other references in one New Testament book to another one?

    ONLY The Originals Are Inspired

Daniel Wallace's review of "The Gospel According to Bart: A Review Article of Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman," Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society 49/2 (June 2006) 327–49. Ehrman's status, according to Ehrman in God’s Problem (New York: HarperCollins, 2008, pp., 2–3) On page 3, he...

Should the Nestle-Aland 28 have conjectural emendations?

In what sense do you mean we are only left with Warfield? Thanks.

James Snapp, Jr. vs. John MacArthur

In announcing the new LSB, John MacArthur said (among many other things):

    New President of the SBC

Take a deep breath, guys. I can be pretty dense, but I think the only person who does not know that the more famous Billy Graham is deceased lives under a rock in Siberia.

    New President of the SBC

Ed Litton is (senior) pastor of Redemption Church, Saraland, Alabama (Mobile suburb) where Billy Graham is the Pastor of Prayer & Evangelism. Seriously.

James Snapp, Jr. vs. John MacArthur

I had wondered if anyone would comment on the picture. From the promotion site of the LSB, this picture shows all attention is on John MacArthur. I do not know who any of the other folks are, but would assume they are people somehow involved in the production of the LSB.

Does the New Testament Quote Itself?

In another thread, 37818 wrote: I thought this might make a interesting discussion -- “Does the New Testament Quote Itself?” Or perhaps more specifically, do any authors of the New Testament quote other authors of the New Testament? And, when doing so, do they quote them as inspired scripture...
