New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

Any moron can rationalize that it is symbolism.

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

And what part of "This IS my body" and "This IS my blood" do you not understand? Do you think He was joking?

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

Apparently you don't have the capacity to understand "under the appearance of bread and wine". I've tried explaining it several times now but you just can't seem to grasp it . . .

John 3:5 does not require (or even speak about) Baptism for Salvation (The Other Denom, Edition)

The Early Church UNANIMOUSLY read John 3:5 as being about Baptism. Were they all "wrong" until the 16th century??

John 3:5 does not require (or even speak about) Baptism for Salvation (The Other Denom, Edition)

That's actually pretty silly., In laymen's English, YOU version of the conversation went something like this: Jesus answered and said to him, “I'm telling you right now, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can an old guy be born again...

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

THANK YOU for blessing me with the same slur that the pagan Romans gave the Early Christians. "Cannibal" . . . I like that.

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

It's not cannibalism. We consume Him sacramentally. Cannibalism would be if we ripped off an arm and ate it. The Eucharist is transformed into His Body and Blood. It didn't start out that way/

No - you're being lazy for not summarizing your source material. That's what ALL good debater do.

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

Like I said - I have answered you more than THREE times already. This is getting stupid. What you want me to say is that we feast on an arm or a leg at mass. That is not the case - but you already know that. You're just being difficult. When we consume the Eucharist, we are consuming the...

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

That's why I don't paste others' work. I put it into my own words.

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

Are you being purposely obtuse - or are you really this dense?? I explained to you that we receive Him SACRAMENTALLY under the appearance of bread and wine - but we consume Him BODY, BLOOD SOUL and DIVINITY. If you have to ask again - you really need to go back to school . . .

John 3:5 does not require (or even speak about) Baptism for Salvation (The Other Denom, Edition)

WRONG. Nicodemus was asking how to be born AGAIN. He was thinking in human terms - but Jesus explained to him how to be born again in HIM: John 3:1-7 Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. He came to Jesus at night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a...

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

No - He is not "disguised" as anything. How difficult is this for you to understand?? The Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ. That is the most explicit description I can give you.

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

I was invited here. Hear there were a lot of anti-Catholics who needed to hear the truth.
  15. M

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

Why?? It was never my intent to argue about Baptism. YOU'RE the one who had a problem with it - not me . . .
  16. M

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

What's wrong with you?? I just got done explaining this.in post #31. Go back and R*E*A*D it again.

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

I can't respond to it because I am not identified as a Baptist here. I already explained that to you. Besides, YOU are the one who decided to argue with ME about Baptism - so the onus to start a thread is on YOU. I couldn't care less . . .

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

Because we have been asked by a Moderator to move the Baptism discussion elsewhere. YOU shouldn't assign intent . . .

New survey: Only one-third of Catholics believe in Real Presence

We consume our Lord sacramentally - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity under the appearance/accidents of bread and wine. That is what HE prescribed at the Last Supper.
