Why does God let us sin?

If faith comes from you, it is a work of the flesh that cannot save. Scripture however says it comes from Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith. Two entirely different things.

    Jeremiah 18: Romans 9 De-Calvinized

Free will = enslaved to Satan unless enslaved to God.

Why does God let us sin?

If you cannot see this truth in scripture, you might have a huge problem.

Why does God let us sin?

Faith without works is dead. So in essence you claim works are your means of salvation. Meeting conditions that correspond to the Law are works.

    Omniscience

He created all for his glory. Hell glorifies his justice, righteousness, and sovereignty.

Why does God let us sin?

God blinded the Pharisees who knew the original languages as well as any, but they could not understand what the words meant.

Why does God let us sin?

You turn the gospel into a system of works. You must be saved (born again) before you can discern the true Christ. “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed...

Why does God let us sin?

People are way in over their heads on this. They try to make our wood, hay, stubble works perfect (impossible) instead of realizing they are clothed with Christ's imputed perfect righteousness. Our righteousness is merely an attempt to tell God thanks for Christ's imputed righteousness that...

Why does God let us sin?

The Pharisees knew what the words said, but they did not know what they meant. That's a big problem today.

Why does God let us sin?

You think you save yourself = an atonement that doesn't save. Christ saved me when I could not believe. Giving me a new birth that caused me to believe = an atonement that actually saves sinners.

Why does God let us sin?

If so, why aren't all saved? You imply his death didn't save anyone.

Why does God let us sin?

Paul says God imputed our sins to Christ and His righteousness to us. Sin cannot enter heaven. That's why we die so the resurrection can make us sinless. You should study Paul in Romans 5 on this matter.

Why does God let us sin?

If you understand the depths of depravity, we cannot believe in the true God unless first born again from where faith proceeds.

Why does God let us sin?

What few understand is that Christ's imputed righteousness and shed blood saves us. Our wood, hay, and stubble righteousness cannot save us. But it is our attempt to show our love for God. But contrary to the works salvation crew, even if all we do will never pass the test of fire, it is...

What are some reasons many get trapped by Dispensationalism?

It is apostasy. It's the Pharisees teaching on the kingdom instead of Jesus' Amillennial teaching on the kingdom.

What are some reasons many get trapped by Dispensationalism?

I think it is part of the great apostasy along with the Charismatic movement. I was deceived by both as a young believer and it took years to recover. Some of my life is irretrievable because of it. https://twitter.com/hashtag/raptureanxiety?lang=en

What are some reasons many get trapped by Dispensationalism?

I think they need to walk by sight instead of faith. They see 1948 as fulfilled prophecy. Other signs in the Middle East that they superimpose the bible. They cling to these tokens as idols instead of going by what Jesus said about the kingdom. It took years for me to recover from this scheme...

Saved in a Calvinistic Baptist Church

I think he was already saved, believing in Christ enough to want to be saved. Jesus says whoever believes has eternal life. What was wrong was the false gospel that deceived him into thinking he must save himself.

    Apostolic Uniqueness

Why do you defend Charismatics if you don't have faith in "tongues". You contradict yourself.
