NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, sir.

    USFL

I understand. The Niners (along with the Oakland Raiders) were closest in proximity to where I grew up, as well, sir.

For those of you who use the King James Version (KJV) as your primary translation ...

Thank you for sharing your point of view with us (and not turning this into a personal attack, sir.)

    USFL

I was born and raised in California, lived the first 55 years of my life in California, but I'm a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, so I know precisely what you mean.

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

I imagine I'll need to spend more time comparing the NASB95 to the updated NASB (2020), before coming to a final judgment.

Hmmmmm ... it is working just fine for me. Perplexing.

    New International Version Only (NIVO)

I find it ironic that those who adamantly support the NIV (2011) can be so belligerent toward those who use the KJV. In my personal experience, I've found them to be so adamant about their own views that they are quick to attack those who do not agree with them.

    Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

Getting back to my thoughts regarding the Christian Standard Bible ... I believe it to be a fine Bible translation, putting aside my disappointment in its efforts to use gender inclusive language.

    ROTC vs West Point

I'm surprised it wasn't nearly one hundred percent.

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

A very good point. I've been using the ESV a lot lately, and I forgot that the NASB does that.

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

Based on your input, I'll have to give the NASB 2020 a try. Thank you.

    ROTC vs West Point

I wonder what the chances are of a ROTC graduate attaining the rank of "Bird" Colonel, in comparison to the West Point graduate? I'm guessing Zero!

    USFL

And how about you? "Do you plan on watching USFL games this ears?"

    Memorizing Scripture

If you'll notice, I am not demanding that you provide evidence, proof, or facts, to support your statement. And I'm not expecting you to provide a lengthy detailed list of specific examples to verify that the AV1611 has a certain "flow of language."

    Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

Thank you for being the voice of reason, sir.

    Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

Notice the wording of my original post. I'm merely asking for "thoughts," not facts, proof, or evidence.

    Christian Standard Bible (CSB)

I would like to make a simple statement, if I may. When I express my opinion, I'm doing just that: expressing my opinion. I do not feel the need to "prove" anything about my opinion. I'm not trying to persuade anyone to believe what I believe, when I'm sharing my opinion with others. I'm...
