Is owning more than one Bible a sin? After all, an individual only needs one Bible, correct? And owning more than one Bible is an example of "excess," isn't it? Furthermore, "a sin is a sin is a sin," right? Isn't that what we preach and teach in church?

I suppose I have somewhat of a love/hate relationship with the CSB. I appreciate what the translators are attempting to do, but (at times) it appears they are "trying too hard" to sound modern or contemporary. I'll be reading the CSB, and thinking, "this is pretty good," but then I find...
