King James Version Bible vs. Modern english bible

All I did was do a google search on the word apocrypha. anyone else can easily do the same. I mean what is your definition of Apocrypha? Do tell me, if the KJV translators had thought the Apocrypha to be part of the scriptures, why did they put it in it's own separate section? WHY? You are...

King James Version Bible vs. Modern english bible

Doesn't the fact that the translators put the books in a section with the title "Apocrypha" speaks for itself? (Hint what is the definition of the word Apocrypha?)

    Mark 16: 9-20?

It's interesting that Vaticanus has a blank space where the ending of Mark would be. Obviously the copiest was aware of the ending and left a blank space.

    Here's you chance Protestants

Actually Jesus and his disciples were criticized by the Pharisees for not washing their hands according to the man made traditions of the elders. Which ironically is what you are doing to believe who don’t follow the false extra biblical traditions of Rome.

    Daniel Wallace Misrepresents Textual Support

"Jerome (AD 340-420), the translator of the Latin Bible called the Vulgate, said this about the pericope de adultera: “. . . in the Gospel according to John IN MANY MANUSCRIPTS, BOTH GREEK AND LATIN, IS FOUND THE STORY OF THE ADULTEROUS WOMAN who was accused before the Lord.” Jerome considered...

    What is Dispensationalism?

You are completely missing the point of why I highlighted that word. Read the verse again and notice the red word. I think you will find the word clearly implies a future kingdom "of this world" that at the time Jesus was speaking "NOW...is not", meaning in the future will be.

    What is Dispensationalism?

Notice the bold red word from the text.

Do You Condone Steve Anderson, IFB Preacher?

Not that I am a fan of Steven Anderson, I can't believe Sam Gipps statement about Joseph calling Jesus the wrong name.. How can you possibly read the bible and come to that conclusion?

Do You Condone Steve Anderson, IFB Preacher?

I am an IFB, and we have had two people come to our church that had been listening to Steven Anderson online, as far as I can tell, the man's spirit really is a huge indicator to me of a problem. It seems to me like he thrives on controversy, for example he teaches that the holocaust was a hoax...

Would an Unregenerate Man Invent "Calvinism"?

Unregenerate man came up with Manichaism, which is strangely similar in some respect to Calvinism: Examining Calvinism: Augustine, Manichaeism and the Good

    Synergist and Monergist: Better Terms

Agreed. Our Free will no more saves us than someone's free will decision to allow a doctor to perform a life saving operation does. The doctor there does all the saving, even though you allowed him to save you, so the same Jesus Christ does all the saving, even though we have to turn to him and...

    Hell

Luke 16 is not a parable. There is zero time textual reason to say that it is a parable, for example, when Jesus used parables he often used the phrase “like unto” or “as” and he often would give an interpretation of the parable, furthermore Jesus named Lazarus in Luke 16, There isn’t a single...

    Newberry Reference Bible

Not sure to be honest. I think it has critical notes and some MSS evidence on the bottom so it probably references some Alexandrian manuscripts sadly. I have been trying to confirm whether or not grammatical codes /symbols made to the words in the text are based on the TR or the critical text.

    Newberry Reference Bible

The Newberry Reference Bible (Previously known as Englishman's Bible) is something I have recently stumbled upon. Does anyone else have any experience with this? It seems like a great tool for studying the scriptures: Some features I thought that were interesting and valuable: Using a unique...

    Daniel Wallace Misrepresents Textual Support

I do not believe that site is KJV only. They are not citing a document by him, but are quoting from his New Testament Textual Criticism course, which you have to pay for. I am not going to pay 79$ and go though all that just to try and find the place where he says it for you.
