Yes. In fact, until recently, I owned several copies of the CSB. After reading the CSB on a daily basis for a span of six months, I decided I didn't really care for it. I gave my CSB Bibles away to the local Goodwill store. (This was approximately three months ago, if memory serves.)

If it were up to you to choose the pew Bibles for your church ... Which translation would you choose to place in the pews?

Yes, I believe this is preferable to the typical "we are more than conquerors." After all, what exactly does that mean? How does one go about understanding (or explaining to others) what it means to be "more than conquerors?" It sounds impressive, though, right? ;)

I especially like Romans 8:37, in the CEB.

I was fully prepared to dislike the the Common English Bible (CEB), but have actually found myself liking it. :)

I agree that the NAS is a fine translation. I simply prefer the NIV (primarily for its "readability.").

I have mixed feelings, when it comes to the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). I imagine I'm not alone on this.

I don't believe the King James Version of the Bible was written at a "low grade level." I think that the United States has gone from college level reading comprehension to an eighth grade reading comprehension level.

The Common English Bible (CEB) reminds me a lot of the New Living Translation (NLT). I believe they're both fine translations (especially helpful for those who are new to the Bible).

One may easily reconcile both statements: The elderly are easily scammed because, like children, they trust virtually everyone.

Post your review, or don't. I don't think it's some major decision, to be dwelling on ad nauseam. And I don't think a negative review on Google is going to have much of an impact, either way, although you run the risk of being perceived as mentality unstable.
