I have introduced a bevy of threads demonstrating the superiority of the 2011 edition vs. the 1984 version. To dismiss the former without regard to its improvements shows a deterioration of memory or maybe sloth.

I have had multiple threads on the subject of inclusive language in the ESV. I even compared the ESV renderings to the same passages in the 1984 NIV. And that demonstrated that the ESV had a much higher rate of inclusive language than the 84 NIV. But your memory is faulty, so...

All parts. You obviously have no knowledge of the subject. Besides, you have flip-flopped on the issue of the reliability of the CSB many times which leads me to think you don't know its contents.

Not essentially, but a great amount of new vocabulary has certainly issued forth aside from technological jargon. And the connotative meaning of a number of words has changed.

You won't find that wording in any legitimate translation. That's woefully obscure and doesn't do the job of translation. So your preference will not be found in the ESV, NASB or whatever. More examples from Psalms follow : Ps. 30:50 "My bearing in my bosom." 118:22 : "The head of the corner."...

But, the footnotes are important. They represent a legitimate alternative. There was more inclusive language in the N.T. text of the HCSB than that of the ESV. But the ESV was more progressive in that the revisers recognized the perfectly legitimate alternative of "Or brothers and sisters" at...
