    Romans 11

in the New Testament, the word Jew is used interchangeably with the term “the circumcision”. Especially in Paul’s writings

    Romans 11

I explained hardening earlier. Read the posts. Romans 11 explains why God hardened Israel, (except for the remnant). Romans 9 says that God mercies whom He wills and hardens whom He will. Romans 9 is where you will find judicial hardening. I will point you to the meat, but I will not feed...

    Regeneration

    1. Why deny the obvious, soil #2 "received the gospel with joy." That indicates acceptance of the good news, which requires faith in Christ. Ditto for soil #3. Receiving is not the same as faith. People can have emotional experiences as the result of hearing the Gospel, and receive the Word...

    Romans 11

NIV Romans 11:25… I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. Who’s he talking to here? Well, we know from verse 13 that he is talking to the Gentiles...

    Romans 11

Sorry, I keep mixing you up with Van. So who teaches "time of the Gentiles means Second Coming" besides you?

    Romans 11

Partial hardening... not all hardened. There is a remnant was Paul’s point in blindness in part quote Now where did I say all Gentiles throughout time? Perhaps all believing Gentiles. last paragraph response. Judicial hardening is when God gives one over to their own unbelief. Like when...

    Romans 11

Interesting thought. I never thought of it that way before. Yet the gentiles are included in the Olive Tree due to faith/being saved. The whole thing about Gentiles being added to the Olive tree is all about expansion of the Kingdom. The branches that are not bearing fruit are taken out and...

    Romans 11

So your position is correct and everyone else's is wrong. Because NOBODY believes the fulness of the Gentiles was accomplished in two thousand years ago. No one that I know of at least.

    Romans 11

Strawman after strawman after strawman. If I meet an unsaved Jew, I am going to share the Gospel to them just like anyone else. Like I said earlier. The means of the conversion of the Jews, as taught by the scriptures, will be accomplished the same way anyone else's conversation takes place...

    Romans 11

I prefer 'Perseverance of the saints" instead of OSAS. I guess I would have to hear the argument before I replied to it, to see where they're coming from. I guess they're referring to branches being cut off The first section of your post puts out a series of strawmen that do not at all...

NO, he put the sentiments of earlier exegetes of scripure. Like Beza and others for example

    Romans 11

Its interesting that I searched numerous good Christian sources and almost no one has your view on Romans 11:25. Bad sign for your interpretation

    Romans 11

yes and the remnant are who God says they are. God is not limited to your understanding and failure to rightly divide the Word of truth

    Romans 11

you were once a God hater and God denier, were you not?

why I said right before He comes. Read the prophets again.

    Romans 11

John R. Rice. The Coming Kingdom of Christ Lots of references to the prophets here I am not in full agreement with Rice. I believe Israel will be converted IMMEDIETELY BEFORE Jesus second advent, not when Jesus comes back. But I'm not dogmatic on that.
