Please quote Scofield speaking of 7 different "resurrections" sir...please quote him. Where does he say such?

    covenantal or dispensational

I seriously do not "foam at the mouth" in reference to dispensationalism sir......I really don't...I think that you do. I don't like mis-representation is all.....I know two things only...I have read Scofield for years...and apparently...according to you, I therefore believe in something like...

    covenantal or dispensational

This seems to be a reasonable post...but a comparison between the errors of R.C.C. and "dispensatianalism"? Is this warranted?

    covenantal or dispensational

Yeah....that guy...I've read him for decades....never got the insane ideas from him that you apparently got....maybe he said 'em, maybe he didn't....just didn't get the insane notions you apparently gleaned from him that you appear to....all I'm sayin.

Who are, "Those thou hast given to me..."

Actually...No one takes that site very seriously...except perhaps, you Calvinists...it is entertaining sometimes...and does add some rhetorical flair....but no one really takes the bulk of their opinions from it. I guess, except some mal-informed Calvinists. No Arminian is quite foolish enough...

OLD sir....OLD...I use none else. Deal with it.
  7. H

    covenantal or dispensational

You are a non-dispensationalist, claiming to speak for what Cyril thought...I only use the OLD Scofield notes...and refuse to use the NEW ones...and I am aware of the difference... ask him...I couldn't care less what you think he believed or what you think a "dispy" believes...no one is going to...

Who are, "Those thou hast given to me..."

Calvin has clearly ascribed all sin as being the direct result of God's decree...Winman has clearly demonstrated that Calvin believed such...If you disagree with him...fine. Stop pretending that Win has not proved his case though. Calvin himself, at least, clearly believed that God was somehow...

Who are, "Those thou hast given to me..."

You have evaded the question....WHY is the sin of Adam passed down/ascribed to all future genterations? Why did ALL of us die? ...This is either somehow an uncontrolable and natural result of what Adam did....or it is subject to God's decree that all of Adam's faults should be ascribed to his...

    The ROSE Acronym

Truth is....There really should be no temporal difference...some hypers...who place ultimate Salvation YEARS prior (temporally) are only being logically consistent...If one is salvifically chosen or "elected" logically prior to any saving act of faith...it matters not whether one is chosen years...

    covenantal or dispensational

No, not remotely...what [edit] told you that? It isn't Scriptural...Scofield was aware of Two, and only two resurrections...they are clearly outlined in the gospel of John...The resurrection of the righteous..and the resurrection of the damned...I think those who don't OWN..said Scofield Bible...

Who are, "Those thou hast given to me..."

Yeshua....One question...if you are not attempting to be obtuse...Where did their "sin nature" come from?...was that the result of the curse? Who demanded that the "sin-nature" would be incurrably passed-down from one generation to the next?
  15. H

Who are, "Those thou hast given to me..."

He did, numerous times actually....you simly refuse to believe that Calvin said what he said...re-read what Win posted...Calvin did not shy from it. He said it clear as day...You are appealing to your Arminian sensibilities to refuse to believe it...but Calvin clearly said it, and he has...
  16. H

Who are, "Those thou hast given to me..."

That is not what Calvin said...that is not what he meant. Calvin is trying to maintain both....He is CLEARLY mainitaining that God is BOTH the author of sin, and yet, at the same time not to be blamed. Winman has quoted him clearly. Most confessional Calvinists in our modern era will admit no...

I can accept that there is some weird form of so-called "dispensationalism" that has all sorts of strange ideas...o.k. I just think that probably few people are a party to such a thing....NUMEROUS RESURECTIONS?????........I know this much...I have used the much despised "Scofield Bible" all my...

    The ROSE Acronym

:thumbs::jesus: Icon.... I think that Allan is well worth listening to here: What he is asserting is the difference between "logical" priority and "temporal" priority....I know that use of such words often gives you pause, inasmuch as you rightly disdain foolish surmisings of...
