    Christian Community

The elimination of the "FRONT PORCH" has a lot to do with the lack of "community" IMHO! That and air conditioning.

John MacArthur takes on some of Arminianism's teachings

Just one more reason to use others judiciously and reserve final beliefs on the HS's guiding in your own personal scripture digging.

When leadership fails, go back to campaigning ...

Any of you oldsters remember Dick Tracy's "TV/phone" wrist-watch? The thing that was so futuristic it was virtually unbelievable? Well, likewise someday there will be an invention that farmers can use to cause rain to fall on their fields when a politician (particularly like the ZERO) is...

Violence:From WWII Veteran to 8 Year Old

At this rate of "aging", I could have ridden with Teddy up San Juan hill! JFTR, I would have to be about 13 years older to have been eligible for enlistment at Pearl Harbor; turn 77 come this October.:tonofbricks:

United nations demands answers from obama admin. On george zimmerman

Mercy, the rapture has got to be close! I've agreed with Zaac for this whole thread - so far!!!:godisgood:

The Word of Faith "Gospel" and Andrew Wommack

Basically the same philosophy (?) of those who held Jean Dixon to be a "prophet". They seize on the once out of 500 that she gets (got) right, but somehow miraculously forget the other 499. Shouldn't affect your salvation, but sure will affect your daily walk and trust in Him!

    Stupid Question

TND: What you say is true, BUT, just as in Israel, they prevailed only as long as they trusted God. I personally believe that God has been with us in the past, but I'm not that convinced that God is going to continue to be with us - the way we are heading now - in any future "democracy planting".

Krauthammer: British parliament voting against action in Syria “ Complete Humiliation

K Just from observing a few inter-racial contacts in the last few weeks, if the race baiters - and those who can't differentiate between race-baiting and simple comments - were silenced for a couple of years, race would cease to be a problem. I would love to see God shut these types up...

Pedophiles want same rights as homosexuals

Methinks we Christians had better be prepared for: 1-The rapture,:jesus: or 2-Earthquakes, tornados, floods/droughts, sinkholes, hurricanes, volcanos, and forest fires all simultaneously in our nation!

    Run, Ben, run! (.org)

Excellent choice, but never as "R" - the leadership would never, NEVER, allow anyone this conservative to be the nominee; based on the last two big ones! Pity, but true.

Walter E. Williams: ‘The civil rights struggle is over, and it is won’

A wise man. As he has shown in so many editorials in the past. Another is Thomas Sowell.

For those who think racism is equal both ways

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/black-517516-trayvon-howard.html Because Zimmerman, Trayvon's shooter, is un-black, whereas the shooters who took the young lives of Howard, Turnage and Jefferson were African American. Indeed, when there is an alleged hate crime against a black victim...

For those who think racism is equal both ways

http://lisafritsch.com/2013/08/black-men-gone-wild-and-the-trifecta-of-black-on-black-crime/ “The system worked.” This was one of Al Sharpton’s slim offerings after being pressured to answer to the three teens (two of whom are black males) who viciously murdered Australian jogger, Chris...

Race baiting is alive in well in D.C.

Zaac: "Nope. I'm not in the habit of taking advice from angry people. They are generally not listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit because they are blinded by their own rage." I do believe you need to get a whole forest out of your eyes; removing one log won't cut it!:BangHead: Pride...

    Forgiving vs. excusing

From my view, the bolded expresses the modern liberal approach to most human failures rather than marking/allowing one to be responsible for their own actions.:BangHead:

I took a Homosexual to Church

Think maybe it could be that it's because this sin is the only one that has a life of it's own, and demands that we not only accept it but legalize it?? Or maybe because it's the only one that feels that it has "civil rights" just like people?? Or perhaps it because it's the only sin that...

You expect a wannabe 3rd world dictator to act any other way?:BangHead:

When in History was isaiah 66 fulfilled?

A most profound question; not answerable unless one wishes to "spiritualize" a simple scripture. Or, even worse, to claim that God did not really mean what He so plainly said!

Beware of White's with School Books.

If what you display on this forum is JOY, then brother I want NO part of it. Now I DO have that "joy that passes understanding", and it is nothing like you describe here. I have pity for you!!:tear:

Jesus rode a Donkey....I rode a John Deere

Hey, what can I say? To me, this is CHRISTIANITY grass root style. Love the story AND the subtle implications of a quiet (still small voice???) but effective relationship result.
