    Dead in Sin

Still NOT addressing the issue. Prevenient Grace is established in published sources as being an "enabling" grace that enables the lost to hear, understand and respond or reject the gospel. Your use as only meaning "revelatory grace" just creates confusion or deception.

    The Corner Stone?

Folks, when our understanding of a verse or passage creates conflicts with other verses or passages, that means we hold a mistaken view. Christ is the chief cornerstone of the foundation upon which we are build our lives. That view creates no conflict with scripture, contextually considered.

    Dead in Sin

Hopefully that word salad means we should avoid use of the phrase. :)

    Dead in Sin

Right, since it can be misleading, we should avoid it. Christ's mandate is to speak plainly, boldly and clearly.

    The Corner Stone?

He is off again, addressing me, and his claims about me. Here is the statement that suggests disdain for bible study: There are plenty of verses whose translations taken as they would seem to be properly translated and understood would be clearly incorrect NO, when we properly translated...

    Dead in Sin

Sure we do not save ourselves or contribute to our salvation. But we do gain access to God's grace through putting our faith and devotion toward Christ. Does NOT result in salvation, but if God chooses to credit our faith as righteousness, then God transfers us spiritually into Christ...

    The Corner Stone?

You made up the falsehood, I am the arbiter of truth to disparage me. Our bible is a compilation of written text purporting to be the word of God. Those that have complied those texts (TR, MT, CT) sorted the available material, including this, discarding that. They have discarded that myth...

    Dead in Sin

    1) The Phrase "sinned in Adam" is not found in scripture. But all those conceived in Adam, in the realm of darkness, do sin if they live long enough. Aborted preborns did NOT sin in Adam, but they were "made sinners." 2) We are conceived in unbelief, therefore condemned to death from the...

    Dead in Sin

Thanks, good question concerning false doctrine! We are born in "Unbelief" not having innate knowledge of the gospel. Unless the gospel is revealed to us, we cannot "come to" Him, meaning to place our faith and devotion toward Him. We must be "drawn" attracted by the gospel. Scripture says...

    The Corner Stone?

Good Grief, if you have no respect for truth, why are you posting. The "head of the corner" is a vague meaningless translation, whereas the chief cornerstone presents the actual message with clarity. To suggest Jesus had heard a fictional story concocted after He died demonstrates all we need...

    Dead in Sin

Prevenient Grace is a fiction invented to resolve the invented fiction of total spiritual inability. To muddy the waters by claiming it "ONLY means God's grace received before ELECTION is simply an effort at deceit.

    Dead in Sin

Arminianism believes that total spiritual inability requires the lost to be enabled to seek God by "Enabling Grace." For you to use the same label but mean "Revelatory Grace" which does not alter the innate limited spiritual ability of the lost is simply throwing a monkey wrench into the...

    Tripartite Sheol?

I do not know the purpose of his posts. Did he mean will not leave my (David's) soul in the grave, in the place of spiritual discomfort, or what? We know, hopefully including you, that the Holy One did not suffer corruption in the grave or in the place of spiritual discomfort. BTW, David's...

    The Corner Stone?

The footnote was for Matthew 21:42. The verse is translated chief cornerstone in the NASB, NKJV, AMP, and WE. Many others simply go with "cornerstone." Lastly several others including KJV and WEB, go with "head of the corner. This is based on the two Greek words, one meaning head or chief...

I do not know the purpose of this post. Did you mean will not leave my (David's) soul in the grave, in the place of spiritual discomfort, or what? We know, hopefully including you, that the Holy One did not suffer corruption in the grave or in the place of spiritual discomfort. BTW, David's...

    Tripartite Sheol?

    1) I believe the OT saints were taken to Abraham's bosom, not Heaven, when they physically died. 2) I believe when you see "Sheol" in scripture, you must de-code the meaning as (a) grave, (b) place of discomfort for the unbelieving human spirits, or (c) place of comfort (Abraham's bosom) for...

    Hidden Manna?

Thanks for the very interesting information on "manna." Another interesting, at least to me, OT illustration is the tamarisk tree. I think it brings to mind our life in Christ. Able to survive in a tough environment. Deep roots. Serves to provide for others. A monument to God.

Not merited is the primary condition of election!

Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV 15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears...

    Hidden Manna?

One other point, from Revelation 2:17. Note the sequence, first the person "overcomes" meaning first the person, having been transferred spiritually into Christ, is caused to be born anew by the washing of regeneration, which then results in being indwelt. And then, the person, as he or she...

Not merited is the primary condition of election!

Yes we are to judge by the fruits, what they bring to the table.
