His death saves also from the penalty of sin. Everyone He died for has their sins forgiven legally before the law and justice of God. Now true, later they are saved experimentally by the quickening of the Spirit sent by Christ to them He died for.
You are of course correct. Some struggle with the grace of God.

Doesn't matter, He still specifically stated who He was going to die for. So what's your point ?

This comes to mind,lol
Ezekiel 2 King James Version (KJV)
2 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.

4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God.

5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Call it what you will, its not changing the fact that Jesus Christ was very specific for who He would die. His Sheep.
Sheep are Jews . The context is clear . Gentiles were never lost . Israel is God's firstborn son . Gentiles are ' strangers , without hope Eph 2.11-12 .

Heres the false teaching of Augustine. This is the beginning of the steps into Lordship salvation and ( practically ) the introduction to a works based system of Calvinism .

Who are they ?
Look them up on YouTube, they have videos there.

Kevin Thompson has a channel called, "Beyond the Fundamentals" , while Leighton Flowers is founder of "Soteriology 101" and was involved here at one time.
Mr. Flowers was known as "Skandelon".

On a side note:

Gentlemen, may I remind my brothers and sisters that we are, as much as lies within us, to be at peace with all men?
Paul delivered to us his own attitude about this subject...
That he sought to be free of offense towards both God and men.

My sincere desire is to see the Lord glorified, and we as believers grateful for His mercy and grace towards us...
Being mindful of what the Lord Jesus has purchased for us with His blood;
Eternal life.
Let's be civil in our disagreements, and to seek peace and follow it.

May He bless us all with patience and wisdom according to His promises.:)
