George Floyd killing: sister says police officers should be charged with murder
We have to see the cause of death. We need to know if there was a delay in calling an ambulance.
The police said something about drugs. If the man had swallowed drugs to avoid possession charges, that could explain his trouble breathing and death. It could also explain him sitting down instead of getting into the car. He may have no longer been able to stand.
We need more info.
peace to you
Come to think of it, the chubby little sidekick officer .. I’d have double shoved him onto his rear causing the knee officer to stand up, problem solved.

It seemed a long time. A few kind words would have been good, as well. The knee on the neck didn't help. Everything goes through the neck, pinch it real good and bad stuff is going to happen.
true - it doesn't take much pressure to stop the oxygenated blood flow to the brain. The knee on the neck didn't help. Everything goes through the neck, pinch it real good and bad stuff is going to happen.
Just saw a better video. Clearly the shin is across the back of the neck and pressing down. Clearly the man was in distress and was saying so.true - it doesn't take much pressure to stop the oxygenated blood flow to the brain.

Dumbest think you could even do is get physical with a bunch of cops involved in a use of force.
Idiotic doesn't quite cover it.
Yep.The main problem was no one willing to body check the cop off of the black dude. People make mistakes, cops are human. If I see a cop not doing the right thing I have to react. Not from rebellion but from the realization that people are morons. That’s all.

It was hard to watch. Like I said, hard to imagine this not leading to a conviction against the LEO.From the guy who was applying pressure to the other guy? Just look at his face on the video, he didn't give a hoot about the arrestee. I know being a cop is a hard job and one has to be tough and unyielding, but there was no compassion anywhere in that cops body. Or the first EMT on the scene either. Did they start checking the guy out before they moved him? Nope!
actually wouldn't it be of a benefit for the police for the victim to have died of a heart attack as that removes the officer an additional step from the death. suffocation is a direct cause while a heart attack could be indirect.there were four cops standing right there, you expect some bystander to rush the cop with his knee on the neck? I've seen some video of them arresting George, didn't see him resisting at all.
What is it with this area, anyways? Marcus Golden, Jamar Clark, Justine Diamond, Philano Castille, now this poor guy. Frankly. all the cops in this one come off as callous jackboots - they claim they always hear suspects claiming they can't breathe, of course they can't with some cop pressing down on necks for several minutes. They already had the guy handcuffed and the autopsy will probably say he died of suffocation. I'd move out of that city and its suburbs, race notwithstanding.
There will be serious bruising on the back of the neck and maybe the side. If I remember correctly, strangulation also causes capillary damage around the eyes.actually wouldn't it be of a benefit for the police for the victim to have died of a heart attack as that removes the officer an additional step from the death. suffocation is a direct cause while a heart attack could be indirect.
there seems no way the police can just walk away from this.
already very serious repercussions are falling out.
I don't believe there's a systemic issue with police.
