Can Believers Go One Day Without Sinning?

Do you really think that you are a person who can righteously judge me? Do you really think that I am guilty of those things just because you are? Do you really believe that I am guilty of those things just because you say so?

Simple observations. The Bible says, even commands to judge righteously. And so I do. Yes you are guilty. Do you need to be reminded? I need only to go to a certain section on your profile where a few posts are listed and had to be dealt with.

I have only seen you falsely accuse, as an accuser. I have only seen you advocate sin. I have only seen you say it is natural for Christians to sin, and to sin daily and constantly.
I do not see such preaching in the Bible.

I will take a stab at it as far as I understand the T in TULIP. I believe it means that it is impossible for unregenerated man to choose Jesus Christ as Lord. Thus, God must regenerate the person before they can believe in Jesus Christ. If this is the true definition then I say I do not agree. I believe God must draw and convict through the Holy Spirit, but I don't believe God regenerates until the person asked to be saved.

What I see you preaching is the possibility of perfect love towards Christ, which I see as an impossibility.

The bible nowhere advocates sinning, so you are way off on that one.

That is a whole other subject deserving it's own thread. For the Calvinist this question is easily answered. For the freewill camp it can be debatable. Open up a thread and see what you get.

--Why does he put that exception clause in there?
Because he knows we will sin.

In fact in chapter 1:8,10, he says that if any one should claim that they don't sin, then they lie and do not the truth.

You just said that he that continues to sin is of the devil, and then you said we do sin probably every day. You also did not answer my question. I asked you if it was normal for Christians to sin. I asked you if it was normal for Christians to sin daily and constantly.

John says “if.” It does not sound to me as if John believes it is normal for Christians to sin constantly.

I think what is misunderstood Moriah is that one like myself and probably DHK (I don't mean to speak for him but) can preach obedience to Christ and still understand and preach that Christians sin everyday because they cannot be perfect towards God, and anything less than perfect is sin, daily.

I know of non-Calvinists who believe OSAS. However, I do not know of people who do not believe Jesus died for the sins of the world, except those from the reformed religions.

I believe Jesus died for the sins of the whole world, lost and saved, and the only sin that will not be forgiven is the sin of unbelief of the Holy Spirit's conviction on the heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. Now, how that plays out for those who never heard of Jesus, I don't know, I would have been nice for God to let us in on that bit of information, but He didn't.

Trust me Moriah when I say, if you were to ask the brothers and sisters in my church and in my life if I preach obedience to Christ they will tell you OH YES! And I still will tell them that perfection is not an option, not even for a day.
