I have a question in regards to the OP... We have reports to those that have done this... If a person leads a sequestered life, can that life be sinless?... If it can who determines it?... Brother Glen

The same scriptures state that if we claim to no longer sin, we are liars!I will hold to the Word of GOD that tells me of the power of the Holy Spirit.
So, are you claiming sinless perfection?I will hold to the Word of GOD that tells me of the power of the Holy Spirit.
Not certain this was addressed, so for any readers with the question...I have a question in regards to the OP... We have reports to those that have done this... If a person leads a sequestered life, can that life be sinless?... If it can who determines it?... Brother Glen
Christian - lost. Oxymoron. Can a Christian who is an addict be lost?
This is a subject that separates many churches and even Christians within the same denomination. One's salvation can be at stake if he/she does not understand this subject well. Along with the subject thread here are four questions to tag with the subject:
1. Does God expect Christians to live a sinless life?
2. Does God expect Christians to live holy?
3. Does Jesus Christ expect a sinner to go on sinning until death?
4. Can a born again person live a sinless life?
Can a Christian who is an addict be lost?
IF he does, that lie right there just busted that up.So, are you claiming sinless perfection?
So, are you claiming sinless perfection? Yes. Or No.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for a christian to live a sinless life. If you think that you are sinless, let me pour a cup of hot water on you and lets watch your reaction. Christians are supposed to live Holy lives. Be ye holy for I am holy.
Are you claiming sinless perfection? Yes. Or No.Are we not hearing the scriptures that is quoted? If you call yourself "Christian" which means what? Christ likeness, right? So, why is it hard for you to see and have the mind of Christ wants you to have?
If we are to live holy lives, then what is that? If you are walking in the Spirit that is Holy living. You will not desire to do what the Lord says is sin. The old man is dead to you and in your life.
Is not a bit of confusion found from not coming to terms with the difference between habitual flaunting of sin and the one overtaken in a fault?TCassidy & evangelist6589,
I am going to try to respond to each of your replies:
Will God’s love continue to save a sinner that continues to sin (to crucify Jesus Christ)? Or Is there a time that God’s love will cease to grant forgiveness to the sinner because the sinner continues to sin against the Holy Spirit? (Hebrews 10:26-27) 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
If God commanded us to live a perfect life, does it not mean that He expects us to live a sinless life? It would not make any sense to live an imperfect life, would it? A life short from perfection of character will reap eternal death.- (Romans 6:23) 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Hebrews 6:4-6 - 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
If a person that confesses he/she is a believer and continues to sin they are saying simply; “Jesus what you did on the cross wasn’t enough for me to stop sinning”. It’s a shameful state and impossible for a person that truly accepted Christ’s suffering on the cross! Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal truths that is contrary to the natural man. (1 Cor 2:10-16)
Romans 6:1 – What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
God’s grace forbids us to live in sin. When we sin, we are of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
You say you intend to reply then you don't reply. Here is the question, for the third time:I am going to try to respond to each of your replies:
Is there a limit to how many times God will forgive (1Jn 1:9)?Drug addict? Alcohol addict? I doubt it, but a christian may fall into sin at times for seasons.
