Catholic Apologist claims Catholics and Muslims worship

Joe is being a little dishonest. If I say “No, Christians and Muslims do not worship the same God.” … then that would suggest that Christians and Muslims worship DIFFERENT Gods.
Are there really multiple Gods?
No, there is only one God (supreme creator). So, when a Muslim or Hindu acknowledges a CREATOR (as Romans 1 suggests all men know), then they are worshiping “THE GOD” … there IS only one. However, the being described in the Quran is NOT the Jesus Christ of the New Testament who claimed to be that one GOD.
Therefore, it really is a YES and NO question that cannot be answered as Joe would have liked without giving a false answer. The Philosophers and Theologians that Joe quoted and mocked, all attempted to acknowledge that the being described in the Quran is not the Jesus Christ of the Bible, but there is only one God … not a God of Islam and a God of Christianity. (our God is not bigger than your God, God is the one and only God.)

When an ancient Israelite sacrificed their child to the fires of Molech, was that “worship” to the one True God?
There is only one God and the child was an act of worship.
Likewise, when a devout Muslim embraces the command to convert or destroy all non-Muslims are they “worshiping” God? The “synagogue of Satan” (of which scripture warns) has been supplanted by the “Mosque of Satan” … but both are puppets to “the god of this world” rather than the One True God.
I suggest a quality Church warden pipe.
And 5lbs of the finest aged Black cavendish to think this through.

The Old Testament Israelites didn’t believe in the Trinity, were they worshipping a different God?
Take time to really reflect on it, don’t be rash and lazy making snap determinations.
Read Paul and his approach to the pagan Greeks, speaking of the unknown God.

You are militating a position and not thinking.
Why was Paul telling “ pagans “ that they were worshipping God as the “ unknown God “.
Man, real thinkers are truly rare in this world. Just hard fast trash determinations.

No. I have a low opinion of people’s ability to really think things through. Just see fast lazy conclusions.
And attention spans in general are garbage.
These kinds of questions are a great opportunity and deserve long term thought and prayerful reflection of Scripture.
There is nothing wrong with taking time to contemplate certain questions.

The God I serve has a Son. Who revealed Himself in many ways and methods. To deny the Son is antichrist.

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
To the pagans, God was unknown, not denied. After hearing Paul at Athens, some mocked but some believed.
Acts 17:32-34 NKJV
And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, "We will hear you again on this matter." [33] So Paul departed from among them. [34] However, some men joined him and believed, among them Dionysius the Areopagite, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
For the pagans (and Jews) after hearing the Gospel and dying in unbelief, they will perish.
