Just popping in. I am getting ready to take Bobby to the train station, then come back home to some ironing.

This afternoon is taken up with picking up papers, rolling and banding them, going to the corner, then picking Brent up from school and delivering the papers, then stopping by Wally World to get Brent some 'folders' and some socks for school, then Aldis to get some groceries (I pack 2 lunches everyday), coming home, fixing Cream of Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for supper and THEN - FALLING INTO BED!!!!!!!!

TTFN!

Dr appointment today for a physical? Can't they look at me and tell I'm not physical at all  Cheryl is going with me to ask all the serious questions I would conveniently forget.

I'm trying to get a homepage started to share my pics and stuff. Very limited space and very little brain activity today.

I use to take my momma to the oncologist---she'd go in to the exam room while I wait in the waiting room---she'd come back out and I'd ask, "What'd the doc say??" She'd say, "OH, nothin'!!"

Then I started going in the exam room with her--just to see what the doctor would say?? Know what he said???

Nothin'!!

Knowing Jim from the BB, I'd say something about his bride being a "saint" for staying with him all these years!!

BTW, it is 80F here in Casper on Sept 9. Don't believe all the myths about cold and snow here in the West. As soon as I get my legs taped up and functional, I'm out to mow the lawn.

And praising God for being able to do that! Looked in my journal and it was a year ago that I preached on Labor Day weekend in my home church after all the problems with my legs. I had to be wheeled to the pulpit in a wheelchair!

YHWH-Rophe is still working His soveign will and good pleasure . . . Baruch haba b'shem.

Dr. Bob, we should all journal our cares and concerns and then give God the glory for our victories and his daily blessings! I'm just praising the Lord with you today for His loving kindness and answered prayers concerning your health!

I have thrown away toys i don't know where they came from, don't remember buying, or those that have been so stuffed away no one remembers them. I'm hoping they will keep it clean or I will go though it again and throw away more :D

Now if i could JUST do that to my DH's things I'd be in business. hehehe

Greetings to y'all from NC. We are having a great time here. We love your grits and biscuits and coffee. Oh, and I have even eaten pecan nuts and babana pudding is just wonderful.

Diane, we are so looking forward to seeing you on Monday. We are out to dinner tonight, and tomorrow there is a bar-b-que and Saturday is an ice-cream supper with home-made ice-cream.

We have a new grandaughter. Morgan Victoria was born at 11.29 am GMT on Monday 6th September, and weighed in at 7 lbs 5 0z. No more news at the moment.

Blessings

Sheila

Glad you got a wonderful report from the Doctor.

Diane and Debby, I guess we will have salad tonight. We have been eating toooooooo much this week, and last week, and the week before that. ;)

Wendy, you are another one that is working too hard. It is a good thing we have this coffee house to come to relax and rest.

Good evening all!

Betty: I am trying to figure out what I did with all my spare time before the boys moved in, I sure don't have any now!

I don't know if I'm coming or going anymore but I sure get a lot done and I sleep VERY well at night!

Brent is taking his bath and I just realized our sheets are still hanging on the clothesline!

Time to make beds and fall into them!

Pleasant dreams all!

Spent a good portion of the day with a new Doctor. A nurse came in and told me to remove my shirt. I asked her, "Are you sure you want me to do that? I may explode like a pilsbury dough can." She laid the KY Jelly on the table and I asked what was that for. She told me and I said, "Nay, nay Shanay-nay."

After about 10-12 x-rays and 45 minutes later, the Dr. came back and was ready to remove a mole on the side of my neck. He pulls out this object that looks like a pen, takes the top off and it's a lighter of sorts. He said it would burn a little. A little? turned into more and then there's that flesh smell, Ew. My tattoo didn't smell at all and didn't hurt near as bad as that burn tool.

They poke, prodded and stuck things to me for 2 hours or so. Didn't hear what I wanted to hear, but probably heard enough to wish I didn't. I took the rest of the afternoon off to get over my ordeal at the Dr's office.

Just about to hit the pillow, only because it doesn't hit back.

Think I'm about to head in to sleep. I've been yawning on and off all day and it's not getting better. Bed beckons Bob.

Will see you all, should I wake, in the a.m. God bless you all and give you grace and a thankful heart for what is on your plate this new day!

Many thanks for your good wishes on our anniversary. We read of great celebrations taking place on this particular day. As you know, my dear wife's mother is in precarious health and we are just waiting this week to place her in a nursing home. Well, Saint Mary has been spending her time caring for her mother and sleeping at that house. She phoned me in the morning and said Happy Anniversary. We were to have an evening meal together, but instead, I got to go babysit her mother whilst Saint Mary did a chore for someone else. We had supper separately. So much for huge celebrations! Good job I don't put too much stock in celebrations as such.

Cheers,

Mary and Jim

Good morning Jim and all who will be rising a bit later:

My sister and her husband celebrated their 56th anniversary Monday of this week. They didn't have a big celebration for their 50th either, Jim. Sorry to hear about Mary's mother. To place one's mother in a nursing home is a hard thing to do - I've been there...

It is a cool 52ºF this morning heading for a high of 84ºF with lots of sunshine. I have to wear different clothes in the morning than in the afternoon when the weather is like this since I am outside...

I'm glad it's Friday, but I NEVER get a day off from the paper route!!!

Outside of the papers, the corner, and the grocery shopping, (which I did not get done yesterday), I am going to 'take the day off'!

The church is having a men/boys campout tonight and tomorrow, but Grandpa is working tomorrow and Bobby is in Kansas, so Brent will not be going. It's just as well - we have papers to deliver by 6:00AM tomorrow...

I'm off to check other forums...

Morning all.... the night was too short for me! Ty will be here in a few minutes and then the day begins for real. I'm already tired!

I only have the two sisters and Ty today. Nick and the older sister are going to clean out the sandbox for me today for $5.00 each. It'll keep them busy and the house a lot more quiet! LOL. The girls Mom gets off at 5 but has never shown up til after 7 p.m. :( and that does make for a long day. Ty returns at 5:30 beginning Monday. Those days feel sooooooooooooo loooooooooonnnnnng.

Well my sinuses are throbbing so I'm going to have some tea and Benadryl to open me up.

1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. 2 For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.

Morning Diane!

I am off to take Brent to school and go to 'the corner'.

I am cooking a big pot of ham and beans for tonight (I will freeze a gallon of them) and baking cornbread.

I think we will get a movie to watch this evening - Brent has never seen "Old Yeller". I haven't been able to stay up and watch "Monk" for two weeks!!! I always fall asleep...

Good MORNING!!!

Jim I'm glad your anniversary went well

Gib Umm OUCH! Sounds like you had one intresting day!

Diane Do you get to sleep on the weekends and take a nap maybe? I hope you charge that mother extra when she is late picking her kids up! I will be praying for you to have the energy to fight your day
.

Sue I've never been a fan of ham and beans. Just not enough taste for me in it. Although I do love corn bread. I'm thinking of making some porkchops, veggies and assorted other stuff for our dinner. Not too sure knowing me i'll end up with Hot dogs

AS far as the rest of my day. I'm really not sure since my weeks go like this Sat and Sun the kids are home Monday i'm here with my dad and diane, Tue and Wed DH is home, so there is another weekend. Thrusday= cleaning up from all the messes made on tue and wed. My wonderful DH loves to try and help out. :D .

So that leaves today a friday. What to do with that time? I'm thinking a book, maybe crocheting, maybe a few bike rides.
I'll let you guys know what I ended up doing. See you around the boards!

Good Morning, everyone! Yeah, it is Friday!

However, I have procrastinated all week and now I will have a very busy day. First to the bank, then the cleaners, then the pharmacy...and later the dog to the vet.

Perhaps some of you have some suggestions. Muffin is a white dog and has skin allergies. Nothing seems to stop his itching. I am so frustrated. He has actually scratched until he bleeds. He has had shots, he has had pills, he takes children's benadryl every day. We give him food for skin allergies, special shampoo. Oh, what to do? I'm not sure the Vet will have any answer.

Sue, Ham and Beans sound sooooo good. What kind of beans? I usually cook pinto beans.

Well, got to get started. Hope you all have a great day.
