I think just envisioning the use of coffee as a cleanser ruined Cynthia's appetite!

Speaking of bottoms. I just got a steroid shot in my derrière!

I do not have pneumonia. I am just fighting a severe 'bout' of Bronchitis. I have another prescription for a different antibiotic and am to continue to take the prednisone also, until it is all gone.

These new antibiotics, along with the steroid shot, are supposed to open up my bronchial tubes. I wonder why the 'old' antibiotics didn't do that?

No going to stores, walking outside, or crossing guard work the rest of the week AGAIN! So, I guess it's the recliner and the computer chair for me. Ya'll are gonna be sufferin' with me! :D

Seriously, thank you so much for all the prayers and kind thoughts,

Oh Sue, I'm glad it's not pneumonia but sorry you have to miss so much work. I know the money is important to your family.

Will pray for God to provide for ALL your needs according to His riches and glory!

Gib, you are a bad person! Very naughty!

Sue, I'll pray that this round will get you to feeling better. I know it is so hard not to be able to work.

What did the doc say about your hand?

He said it looked like it might be getting infected already!

Keep salve and a dressing on it - which I had been doing anyway.

This has NOT been a good week. :(

Hopefully, this antibiotic will take care of any infection in your hand as well.

I hope he gave you a nice strong one like Biaxin, which I actually hate to take, but always cures me.

I had a really strong one that I just finished yesterday. Today he gave me Doxycycline 100mg 2x a day. I'm still waiting for that steroid shot to 'do' something. I thought it would kick in right away...

I am going to bed - praying for a restful night.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Goodnight Sue, pleasant dreams.

I'm considering starting another book tonight.

It has been one of those days around here. I had to go pick Bitsy up at school early today, she had a headache, again. She's been complaining on and off for a month that her head hurts. We are headed to the doc tomorrow. We'd have gone today except her doc doesn't see patients on Monday and Friday.

Maybe sleep would be better than a book. I already have one kid knocked out. The other two are watching a movie and will fall out soon. I just hate to go to sleep before T gets in. He ended up working late tonight.

Cynthia, I used to do the same thing. Jim was working at AirTran taking reservations til midnight and I'd feel guilty... but had to be up so very early... Now I cannot go to sleep early. I think I enjoy the quiet once Nick falls asleep. It's VERY hard having all the children in our home for 15 hours a day. Saturday I had the 20 month old for 5 hours and this coming Saturday night we're keeping at least 10 for a Sunday School party at our church. I love children but do enjoy NOT being around them sometimes. LOL

    TEN in your HOUSE?

Not me! The last time I had that many at my house I thought I wasn't going to have a house left. And they didn't stay overnight.

I used to work in daycare, so I understand about having other peoples kids all day long. I'm not sure I could handle it in my house.

I am headed to bed, hopefully I'll find something to watch on TV and he'll get in soon.

    Night, night.

Since the party is at church, I've suggested we have the children at church in my Sunday School room. It's a very large room with a bathroom that is child sized, t.v. with a vcr built in, lots of toys, books, etc. and the bed baby nursery is 5 rooms away in case I need to grab a swing or play pen for a tiny one.

It's quite hard having them in our house because we're very neat and organized people and that's virtually impossible with all the children coming and going. Tomorrow I'll have 7 at different times. Wed. is 6, Thursday 7 and Friday THIS week is 5. They all got picked up very early today. One mom got sick at work, one father called in sick and another left work early because of dense fog. We actually got to have a lovely meal together as a family!

Well, Ty will be here right after 5:30 and I do need to get to bed. God bless all my friends here on Baptist Board and thank you all for your amazing prayers. God has already answered our prayer need!

    Good morning all:

I went to sleep around 10 and I think I only woke up once. I think that steroid shot fianlly 'kicked in' around 3:30 this morning! I am wide awake!

I don't feel too bad. I am still coughing, but am sure breathing much better. PTL! Hopefully, I will STILL feel good when I get up and start moving around... This poor house has been neglected for over a week now.
