Well all my kids except one has left early today! I'm to drop Max off at his house at 5:55 before I go to church. I've already put away the porta-cribs and bouncey seat and my house looks so much bigger. LOLOL Once I get the toys picked up, paints put away, crumbs off the floor... it'll look like a house instead of Romper Room!

I was worried about putting the eye drops (one drop) in my eye. I've not ever been good at that and since I can't see... Jon had to be up early today and he did the first round for me. Jim's going to try and be home for the second dose. He can do them all tonight and every 15 mins. tomorrow morning.

Diane, just do what I do for the kids. Close your eye, put the drop right in the corner and then open your eye and let the drop roll right into your eye.

You can do this even if you are using the other eye to see what your are doing. I do it in the mirror all the time. (I hate eyedrops too)

I have a dryer! I have a dryer! Then again, maybe I shouldn't say anything cause this one isn't new and it might decide it doesn't like it here and die too. My parents had a dryer stored on their garage that was "to good to throw away" but didn't match their new washer. Dad thought Mother needed a matching set so they put the old, but still working dryer in the garage. It is now drying clothes in my house. Hopefully this will solve the dryer problem for the month it'll take me to convince T that I really need the dryer I want. (he says I don't need one that expensive, :( meanie!)

    You Go Girl! LOLOL

For regular eye drops, I put the dropper against the rim of my eye lid and so it but these are $70. a bottle and I sure don't want to waste them and have to buy more. LOLOL I'll try that if I can't find a family member to doctor me up.

Well I think I'll shut down early tonight and watch a little t.v. before bed. I have a feeling I'll awaken early tomorrow, if only out of habit!

I'm glad to have 4 days off in a row. [IMG] Caring for little ones is tiring but rewarding. They don't want to leave. [IMG] One came by with African Violets for a combo Mother's Day and praying for your surgery present. He was so cute. 'Got you a present!'

If I don't say hello in the morning, do pray for any anxiety I may have. Jim and Nick are taking me.

    Night all!
    Diane

Praying for you Diane. Have a good, restful, peaceful, night's sleep.

If you can't get online, please have Jim post and let us know when you're back home.

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Morning all...

Diane, will definitely be praying for you! God bless you.

It's another cool start here. These last few days of tests have really worn me out. But, I think I'll recover. Had to go back to bed several times yesterday, and missed church last night! I hate when that happens! I wanted so to be there. One of our deacons who teaches the adults on Wednesday night is starting to get an inferiority complex because we've missed so many Wednesdays nights (I don't really think he's doing that, but sometimes I really feel bad for him...he's the only guy in a room full of women!)

Today is supposed to be Viv's last day this week. She said they fired someone yesterday afternoon, and everyone was in an uproar! It's really getting to be rough at work sometimes according to her. That's what they get for not having a union. ;)

My mom told me the other day she finally joined Cornerstone Baptist the past Sunday. Praise the Lord. Now some real healing can begin in our family. Faith was a real stumblingblock for several of us because of past wrongs done there over the years that were never scripturally resolved by the pastors. That's probably why a majority of us kids have gone SBC or Non-Denom! Only one is still IFB, and they are only IFB because of the church has become more like the SBC. One brother doesn't attend church at all. But, God's working.

Be good ya'll. Because of the vertigo and nausea, I might be in and out over the next few days.

    T

    Good morning all;

Diane - woke up this morning with a prayer for you on my lips. You will do just fine!

Tony - take care and don't do too much. I have had bad vertigo and it is not fun (nor safe).

It is 36º this morning heading for 74º this afternoon. Yesterday, it was beautiful. I think we're having several days like this (I hope MORE than just several...).

    Cruising,

    Praying for Diane.

Today will be doctor day for this family!

Skin doctor for Ed and Eye doctor for me.

Ed has suspicious spot on his face, but just a routine check up for me. The funny thing is that ever since I made the eye doctor appointment on Monday, my eyes have been watering and itching. Is it all in my mind?

I do think I need new glasses.

Hope everyone has a great day! It is cloudy here and I hope it stays that way until after I get home from my eye appointment.

I miss a lot here when I have to go to PT, and then it was choir practice, and I went right to bed after that.

Chipsgirl, I must have been still during the MRI, because the tech said the pictures looked "readable" to him. That's as much as they can/will tell you. Doc won't explain it all until I see him on 5/12, so I have to hang on 'till then.

I pray that Diane can relax and let them do their work on her eyes. I know she'll enjoy the chair! A chair like an eye doctor's or a dentist's would be great in an MRI.

Meeting my daughter this afternoon at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to see the Salvatore Dali show. You know - the artist with the limp watches and other wierd stuff? Philly is the only American city the show is coming to, how about that? I really like his religous art. His "Last Supper" is amazing. So are the crucifiction paintings. We should have a good time. Probably stop and look at the other stuff in the museum too. We haven't been there in a while.

I am not a Dali fan of any sort, but that is an eerie God's-eye view of the crucifixion for certain.

Well hello all. I started to get pretty anxious about 30 minutes outside of Rome, Ga. and then had to wait an hour before being called back. I noticed people being released every 15 mins. or so and TRIED to calm myself.

They started an IV immediately after having me sign even MORE papers and then gave me a small dose of relaxation meds. They gave me more a few mins. later and then the anesthetist had them give me a double dose. I never felt anything other than NOT anxious. No joy, silliness, total relaxation, etc. but I did carry on a conversation with a nurse who was reading her daughters school assignment to the doctor.

As soon as the surgery was finished, they put me in a padded rocker type chair, gave me a soda, had HUBBY sign some papers and then wheeled me out in a chair. No nice padded chair Debby! It was a stretcher with thick padding and a head rest tho. My BP was 141/ 76 during my most anxious time so not too bad! The older people were sleeping on their stretchers and were asked their names, birthdays, etc. Not me??? I never slept!

I have to drive back tomorrow and be there for a check up at 11:00. Three hours driving round trip if we hurry!

I can see through some little holes in the big patch over my eye and can read! Still a little blurry but my pupil is enormous! I take the patch off at 6 and then back on for bed and no bending or lifting for at least 24 hours. I got the young male nurse to tell Jim no ironing or dishes for 2 full weeks. ;)

    THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS!

Thanks so much Granny! It's hard when you've never had anything done! I'm not a fan of medicines. [IMG]

I had too much done when I was younger, but it's been over 20 yrs since I've been to a doc & I plan to keep it that way, lol. It's too nerve-wracking and EXPENSIVE.
