Good Afternoon! I have been busy, busy, busy.

The Fellowship Hall at Church is now decorated for the Dinner tomorrow. I had time to practice new music for the Sunday Service, get Muffin's special food and Ed's meds. I don't think I'm going to do anything else today. Oh, the clothes need folding. Well, I think I had rather take a nap.

    ;)

Betty, I will be doing next Friday what you did today! I'm so thankful the Woman's Club is putting a Christmas tree up and decorating it. I will have plenty to 'haul' out there without that!

I was going to get so much done today, but I have been kept busy on the BB all day!

I must go look for some Christmas sheet music, with chords, for a Mandolin so I can print them out and send them to Vern.

I had bunches of links on my other computer, but alas, they are in cyberspace someplace now.

A nap sounds good, but it's not in the cards for me today.

    Sue,
I would love to have the pattern for crocheted slippers ... had one once , but can`t find it, I believe they were made from squares about four squares, if I remember rightly, please could you remind me of it x
I was at a fete today, sold home made jams and some of the woven items I`ve been making , some scarves and a few coin purses . I made £105.00, that will help with the Christmas shopping.

Gwyneth, I will email you the instructions, but mine are made all in one piece, and with two strands of yarn throughout.

My kids just beg me for another pair when their's wear out (which takes a long time). Everyone I have made a pair for absolutely loves them (including me). I won't wear any other kind!

That's neat that you made some Christmas money! I know you do nice work - no matter what you make!

    Evening everyone!

Sounds like we've all been busy. I managed to get just about everything I need for Christmas with the exception of T's nieces and my parents. Of course that meant not buying something that I went to get and then taking something else back when two other gifts I needed just jumped off the shelf and shouted "BUY ME!!!". I love when that happens! I also bought my own Christmas present caused it jumped off the shelf with the other two. :D

My parents gift just needs picking up. I have to talk to T's sister before I get what I've planned for the neices. I want to make sure that they don't already have it. I think I'm introducing them to a new pastime(x box video games) that has been the sole realm of their daddy(fully encouraged by T of course). But I could be wrong and I might just be that they have already stolen full rights to it. They hadn't a year ago, but things change.

Guess I should go ahead and call them. See ya'll later!

    Yay, it's bedtime!

It's going to be a long long Saturday! I had planned on doing my final for one class today, not realizing the girls had a Christmas program tonight. Now I'm too tired to do it, and it will take a good six hours. The program was BEAUTIFUL. One daughter played the flute, another played the violen, and the other sang. I love my girls!

I get to spend tomorrow studying for a two day exam , and I was told this afternoon that my speech for next Friday is cancelled...that would be nice if it wasn't rescheduled for MONDAY! I've also got an approximately 20 page discussion to write. I guess I can do some stuff Sunday evening. I just don't like to count on it!
The good thing is that I do my best writing under pressure! I don't LIKE the pressure and the frenzy I throw myself into, but it's worth it when I see the results! [IMG]
I'm hoping pain pills won't dull the "rush" that gets me writing. I was hobbling around campus with my cane today like a little old lady...ok BIG old lady! LOL! The celebrex isn't working enough anymore, so I get another Saturday on the heavy stuff. It's the only day of the week I feel comfortable taking them, because I know I can stay home! (driving on them is illegal)

I hope everyone has a good night, and a good day!

    Morning all:

It a chilly 39 here, and that's up from the 32 that it was when we got up at 1:45 am. It's supposed to get warmer today and then rain is supposed to move in. We're supposed to get some rain/snow tonight, tomorrow and into Monday.

We had some snow flurries yesterday morning. They were pretty, but glad they didn't stick.

Viv's working today. They were pretty steady yesterday and she was very happy about that. She said the day went quite well. We've got a LOT to do when she gets home. Tomorrow is the monthly luncheon at church and also a craft setup for the booth at the middle school on the 10th to raise money for the building/land purchase fund.
Viv's donating some of her candles and other craft items and making some peanut butter fudge! [IMG] She'd better save some for us! There's also a business meeting tomorrow.

There were 53 in Wednesday evening services. Most were kids, but, still, they were hearing the Word of God. I think 21 were adults. Wish we could have stayed.

GINA, my mom took celebrex for a while, and it is dangerous to your heart. Please, be careful when taking it and have your doc checking your heart every so often. I worry about you with that and your kids need you, especially the dear little sick one.

    God bless y'all.

Be good, Be kind, Be careful.

T!! --yes! Blackbird does concur that the idea of your mom taking Celebrex could be bad for Gina's heart---but Blackbird also believes that the Vulcan Mind Probe would do Gina a "world" of good!!

AVL, I love smaller churches! We're in one now. Now that I'm in a small one and know everyone, I've also lost my fear of eating the food at potlucks. That luncheon is sounding like a good plan right now! :D We haven't had a church gathering with food since last Saturday...they're slackin' I tell ya!

Don't worry about the Celebrex, it's not working anymore so I'm done with it. It actually seemed to help my heart, even if it's bad for it in another way. I forget the name of it, but I've been in the hospital with both the lining of my heart and lungs inflamed. The Celebrex had the added benefit of helping with the type of pain that came from that. I also made sure my intake of lecithin was sufficient while I took the celebrex. (and will continue to do anyhow)

Exactly!! But from Blackbird's perspective--there are more advantages to the Vulcan Mind Probe--and besides that fact--there are no needles involved--no IV's--no infections to the Cardiopulman muscle--nor to the spongy like tissue that suck air in and out to supply oxygen to the green Vulcan blood!!!

Give me about 20 minutes for this pain pill to kick in and I'll find this hilarious. Here is a preview of how I function from the beginning to the end of taking one of these puppies:

Wow! I just realized I hadn't checked in here today. Someone actually noticed and emailed me to see if I was all right!

I have been very busy today, cleaning, wrapping presents, and finishing up the decorating.

I may not be on as much as usual this next week, because the big Christmas is Saturday with the wedding Friday.

    Please keep the coffee going...

    Pleasant dreams all!

Sue,this is a busy month for everyone.

But it is so much fun to celebrate with family and friends.

    Good night, All

It appears to me that Blackbird has called Gina a vulcan twice.

Gina, how long does your 'drug cycle' take?

Blackbird would know about those Vulcans. Being on the Feringy Council, he's well versed in other race's economic structures.

Gayla, that is about a 4 hour cycle.

And don't worry, Blackbird has me PEGGED, for look at this:

That is from Wikipedia, the link is not allowed in the post because there is a parenthesis in it.

Logical, reasonable, able to get drunk on chocolate while getting all my nutrients without harming innocent animals?
Forget THAT, look at what I LOOK like in that photo! Excuse me, but YAY!
Let's see if it lets me link the photo: Wikipedia photo link

For the info on vulcans, go to http://www.wikipedia.org and look up the word.

Well, it is time for bed and I am just now checking in. The Morning worship service was wonderful. I love the Christmas Music, decorations and the lighting of the advent candles.

I got to sing and enjoy tonight's service. The youth did the music. However, they didn't know what time to start because I didn't play a prelude to call everyone into the sanctuary. [IMG]

Have a great week! We will need lots of coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate this week. It is going to be cold!

    Morning all:

It's a crisp 32 here today. It's not supposed to get much warmer.

Vivian didn't have to be in until 7 am today. It was nice to get up at the same time and have an unrushed breakfast and a bit of time to watch the news. It was nice.

We didn't make it to church yesterday. Viv was just totally worn out and her back still isn't up to snuff, so we didn't attend. We're going to try and get the tree out of the garage tonight and maybe get it up tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hope y'all have a great day.

    Good morning all:

It is a very cold 7 here this morning with a wind chill of -2. We are expecting a high of 18 with some snow, which would be better than the ice we have on the roads right now.

Of course, this is the week I have to do my running for the week-end. I have to get my hair cut, go to the deli and find something to wear to the wedding!!!

I need to take the 'boys suits', along with my coat, to the cleaners today so they'll be clean for the wedding Friday. Now how am I gonna get home today and back to the cleaners tomorrow with no coat?

Yes, I only have one. Yes, I could buy another one because this one is 10-years-old, but I don't usually have a need for two coats!

    HAGD!

Gonna grab a cup of coffee.
