I finally made it in! Tell Sue to just keep trying. I dumped all temp files and cookies several times, even restarted my computer, then made about 10 more tries at getting in, and here I am.

Poor Sue did that a bunch of times and still can't get in. I posted a Help topic in the computer forum and no answer yet. I don't know what else they can do.

So, is there anything new or different on the BB after the maintenance?

I must have benefitted from Donna sumping her temp files several times,,,I got in straight off without any difficulty.....Didn't know it was back or that Sunday came so soon.

Yep, the BB came back early afternoon already. The new webmaster/owner/administrator was able to finish ahead of schedule for now. I had no problem coming in either, was only told that I have to log in...

Yes, I had to log in and change my time. I guess he expected more, and did less...will he still charge union rates?

I'm not gonna tell Sue there is a special masonic handshake you have to do with your computer before it lets you back on.

Maybe when I catch up to here post total I'll give her the code.

My wife cannot get back on either
and we are on same server.

And the time is showing differently here to. it is showing 2 hours ahead of us which would put the BaptistBoard servers underwater somewhere in the atlantic. Cuz, we are on central time. lol

Yeah, time seems relative here! The BB changeover was to take place at Midnight Central time, so I am posting away at 10 pm Mountain and ZAP - site closed!

So guess I'm not surprised that a clock doesn't function right.

Only clock I have that works is the one flashing 12:00 on my Beta VCR. It's right twice a day. :rolleyes:

My wife is about to backslide here. She is on her pc right beside mine, on same server and cannot sign in.
Keeps saying 'Sorry, this message board is temporarily closed while we do some routine maintenance.' lol

Just got an email from Sue. Here is her message:

I can't get into the BB!!! I keep pulling up the old pages instead of the new ones.

I have cleaned out cookies, temp. files, rebooted and logged out and in several times.

Any suggestions?
