Yes it is. Socialism is socialism. There is no difference between "Socialism" and Democratic Socialism." They are the same exact thing.

That is just the typical Liberal lie. Nazism has nothing to do with far right. It's only "far right" because it is the only way you can demonize the Right. Nazism offered the exact same garbage, made the same promises to the Germans that the Socialists were making on the debate stage last week. It's the exact same thing, only by a different name.

In a Democracy, the majority rules. That's why the Left wants to get rid of the Electoral College. They want to go to pure Democratic approach to voting in the General Election that would favor only large population centers and states with fewer voters would have no say at all. That's mob rule.

Anarchy isn't any kind of rule. Anarchy is the absence of any rule at all. Again, you don't know what you're talking about.

No, I wasn't. I never said that there were any countries that went from Socialism to Communism. I said that Communism is the goal of a socialistic society, according to Karl Marx. But every socialist country we have today is a train wreck. The Soviet Union was socialist, as is NK, and Venezuela and Cuba and so were the Nazis. That is the Democrat vision for America and real Americans are going to put an end to those socialist dreams. America will never be socialist as long as real Americans are still alive and kicking.

Everywhere you find socialism, you find totalitarianism and despots. No food, no money, nothing but oppression and poverty and that is what you Liberals would send America into if you had your way. You have bought into the Bernie Sander's myth about socialism where everything is just free.

Socialists are the enemies of the US and have no place in this country. We will never be socialist and there are enough of us to make sure it never does.
Can't you understand that there is a major difference between majority rule and mob rule?

Interesting idea. So you support minority rule, right? Who gets to decide which minority rules?

No I support the electoral college. The Dems are only wanting to get rid of it because they have a goal of never losing another election. That is unAmerican.

It's pretty much the same. The mob is the majority in mob rule. That's they call it "mob" rule.

In the majority rule, the majority makes all of the decisions for everyone else and the minority has no representation, no say, whatsoever. If the majority makes all of the rules that everyone else is forced to abide by. The majority can do whatever it wants, in a pure Democratic setting. It the essence of mob rule. Whoever has the most, calls the shots and it doesn't matter if those shots are good or evil.

Our government was set up to a "majority rules" situation. That is why the minority party in Congress is not powerless and has to subjugated to the majority. It is why we have an Electoral College that makes sure that states with smaller populations have an equal say in who becomes president. Wyoming has as much say as New York in the electoral process.

Mob rule is a majority rule in function if not form. Your the one confuses "mob rule" with anarchy, which is the opposite of mob rule.

Man is basically evil. To give everything to majority rule would mean that we would be ruled by an evil, tyrannical majority that would send this country into the abyss.

What happens when the majority decides that children are the wards of the state and limit's parental rights over their kids? What happens when the majority decides that Churches are subject to state censors that decide what the church can and cannot teach?

People who support a majority rule are simple-minded, short-sighted fools who would give over their freedom to the majority and would subject this nation to totalitarian rule by whatever "majority" make up would be.

No, we support a representative republic like we have now that gives the minority equal say in how our country is governed. The Democrats want a majority rule because their goal is to "rule" rather than to govern.

Please cite the appropriate text of the Constitution or any of the writings of the Founding Fathers that validate your claims of majority rule or that this country was set up as a Democracy. I was taught our country was all about "individual" rights, and not about the collective.

Look at states that have the "initiative" process, they have anarchy within their governmental systems. One group is proposing this, another group proposing that and confusion reigns. The basic system of representative government is torn asunder.

Wow. This is complete nonsense. So majority rules is the opposite of majority rule which is a form of mob rule? Anarchy is the opposite of mob rule?

Again gibberish. The minority has equal say with the majority?

If we have a vote doesn't the side which gets the most votes win? If not who wins?

Yes. That's why we have an Electoral College, so that the minority has representation and an equal say in who will be the president of the US. It keeps the majority ruling the country.

It was a typo. I was tired when I typed it. What it was meant to say is, "Our government was not set up to be a "majority rules" situation. In a majority rule, the majority makes all of the decisions for everyone else and the minority has no representation.

Anarchy is the absence of any ruling authority; everyone does as he or she wishes to do and there is no government, no law, nothing to hold anyone accountable. Everyone does as he pleases. That is not mob rule. In mob, or majority rule, you have a situation where the majority decides how things will be and dissenters have no voice.

If we did things the way the Democrats want to do it, New York and California would decide the general election for president every single time, as those are where the largest population centers are located. Southern CA has more voting power than most of the midwestern US especially in states like Wyoming and Montana where there are fewer citizens. The Electoral College ensures that states with smaller numbers have as much say in who will be president as the larger states.

In a pure Democracy, the majority wins. But America isn't a Democracy. We have a representative form of government, which ensures equal representation and that means that everyone has an equal say in who will be president. The Electoral College which Democrats now abominate, makes sure that no one population center controls our election in the General Election.

Under the Electoral college a vote in a small state is worth more than a vote in a large state. I think the principle should be one man/one vote. Also the Electoral ollege system is more susceptible to hacking as was done in the 2016 election by Russia in favor of Trump.

That's not how it works. You clearly do not understand how the Electoral College works. The number of electors is determined by the number of Representatives and Senators each state has. The # of Electors is equal to the number of Representatives in the House and Senate for that state. When people cast their vote, they are actually picking electors. Those electoral votes for the presidential candidate that gets the most votes is given to that candidate. The electors in the Electoral College then cast their votes for the candidate who obtained the most electoral votes during the election.

I think the principle should be one man/one vote.
If you did it that way, in our country, only large states like California and New York, due to population size would decide the election for the country and no one else gets -a say in the election. If our population were evenly distributed, you could do that, but that is not the case. One man/one vote would put the entire Midwest US at a disadvantage. Southern California alone has a larger population than the Midwest. Add New York state those two states would choose the president in every election.

Also the Electoral college system is more susceptible to hacking as was done in the 2016 election by Russia in favor of Trump.
The Electoral College has nothing to do with Russia hacking. Russia could hack our elections no matter if we were using the Electoral College or not. That is a fallacious argument.
