Divorce, Remarriage and Preaching Part II

Christ was fulfilling the Law which he abolished on the cross. You fall from grace if you go by it instead of the New Covenant.
So we are ok to kill now, ok to lie now, ok to steal now? Those are all in the OT. You need to rethink your theology because it doesn't add up to what Scripture actually states.

Hatred remains the same. The same hatred the law punished. But we now have love as our motive. Love doesn't do those things. Only corrupt people need law. Be careful of where you fit.

Here's all I know, you are making claims without backing them up with Scripture.

Actually 8 1/2 of the Ten commandments are repeated in the NT

Those are the ones we go by as far as commentary is concerned. But if the NT doesn't import something from the Old, and we observe it legalistically, we need to keep the entire law which means we reject Christ.

The Law cannot save. And it was how God controlled wicked Israel under the threat of death. Do you know of any Christians who need this?

Not for those that claim Jesus ministry before the resurrection was OT for the Jews under the Law.
(I only point that out because I have had parts of the "Gospel" from the lips of Christ rejected by people in conversations as "not for us".)

The NT does not provide for divorce or remarriage. It was permitted under certain conditions in the OT. All divorce and remarriage no matter the reason is adultery.
NO, you hold to a Pharisee view here, as there are indeed scipture grounds to certain divorces!

The divorce issue is to Baptists what the sabbath issue was to the Pharisees.

(And no, I am not divorced but happily married by the grace of God; and I am full-on Baptist).
Seems to be to some of us here the modern day Unpardonable Sin!

Do you believe the Old Covenant gave way to the New Covenant according to Jeremiah? IZf so, Matthew 19:9 is not for today. Where do you find divorce as an option for a believer in the NT?
Jesus and Paul gave grounds for it, so onus on you to show why there were wrong!
