You can't obey news. You can't practice news. You can believe news. If your "gospel" requires anything but belief, it's not the gospel.

Wow. Are you really that ignorant of God's word? The word "might" does not appear in Greek. What it actually says is ου γαρ απεστειλεν ο θεος τον υιον αυτου εις τον κοσμον ινα κρινη τον κοσμον αλλ ινα σωθη ο κοσμος δι αυτου.

Now look at that word σωθη. That is the word the KJV translates as "might be saved."

What it actually is, is an aorist, passive, subjunctive, third person singular verb.

Now look at the subjunctive mood. Do you understand what a subjunctive verb means?

The subjunctive mood, in this case, expresses a contingency. It does not mean "maybe" or "might" (in the sense might or might not), be simply expresses a contingency.

The last part of John 3:16 says "whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

The subjunctive verb in verse 17 expresses the contingency that "whoever believes" is (or has been) enabled to have eternal life.

It is not a "maybe." It is not a "might or might not." It expresses the contingency, "believe = have eternal life" and obversely, "does not believe = does not have eternal life."

Amen.

In order to comprehend what any text says, we must first have the skills to actually read the text.

It looks like all are permitted to have "their will be done"....unless you are claiming those who are saved are so against their will. ;)

Firstly, no one in his right mind would see being saved as a bad thing. No person has ever complained to a fireman about being carried out of a burning building, brought to a hospital and restored to full health.

Secondly, no Calvinist believes anyone is saved against his will. We understand that we are given a new nature; therefore we have new desires.

Is the gospel of the synergist the exact same gospel of the monergist? If not, how do they differ?

"Do Calvinists Distort the Gospel?"

Yes.

Calvinist declare that their understanding of the gospel is capacity solely given to them by regeneration from God.

This is all geared towards a Gnostic monopoly over scripture were your "CHOSEN ELECT" only understand scripture.

YET ALL CALVINIST don't agree with each other. Making this "GOD GIVEN" ability a JOKE.

Anyone can read the four GOSPELS (hint called Gospels) And get the entire gist of christianity.

Our heavily indoctrinated brethren, however would be absolutely clueless as to what the gospel is after reading the four gospels. Clueless to what Jesus was doing and what Jesus wanted.

Until they finally reach a distortion of Romans that grants them a License to Sin.

Jesus Christ says stop sinning and that you can stop, That is not the answer they want, They want to hear that it is impossible , that God made me that way, so I am excused in my SINNING.

The DISTORTION is a License to sin. EVIL calls Evil good.

The message of the Gospel that saves a lost sinner is the same regardless, BUT the Calvinist actually understands just how the scriptures tell us God saves us!

You are absolutely right. God does not bring anyone kicking and dragging to salvation. The Holy Spirit changes their heart through regeneration. By the time they place their faith in Christ they come willingly. In fact, they have no greater desire than to come to Christ.
Those who want to honor absolute free will, or even some holding to Universalism, see that though as making God somehow being a "Cosmic rapist," as have seen Robb bell use that very term, and others!

jesus stated that ONLY those who hear his Voice can know the truth, and Paul stated that the natural man cannot receive the things of the scriptures, so there distorting also?

Amen, yet what you said has nothing to do with what I said.

If you actually believed what you were saying.......why are you taking it up with me?

James 4
8Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

If I thought for a moment that it is by a God given extra power that I understand scriptures and others do not, I would not waste my time explaining to you something you don't understand.

Instead I would petition GOD to give you the power he gave me.

COMMON SENSE does God know how to regenerate that?

All of those who have eyes to see, and ears to hear....

You tell me. What is the Gospel?
"Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures"
1 Cor.15:1-4

I dont think it is fair to say that Calvinists "distort the Gospel". They have a differing approach and intereptation of the Gospel that are completely valid possibilities. However, as valid the possibilities are, I would not go as far to say that they are any more or less valid as other possibilities.

The Gospel itself is the same message, just differing views on what it all really means!

Correct. Calvinist have a different view that I admit is completely valid. However, there are other views that are valid. It all depends on the interpretation and context one chooses to adopt.
