Because we have Heb 1 :5 ...." this day..."

another matter. preincarnate sonship suggest a lessor or even created son position, for Jesus which is wrong and is taught by Mormans, JW's even Muslims

Jesus the Son of God is eternal. Jesus the Son of Man came into the world as God the Son, with a fully human and fully divine nature. But remains forever as he is now in glory.

The Son did not became flesh and blood, God became fresh and blood as the Son. Yet was in Heaven while on earth. Obedient as a human to GOD
There was a distinct Person in heaven with the Father before he came to earth, correct?

Yes .as shown in John 1, He is God But recognize the Father name for God occurs at the same time as the Son , Heb 1:5
So there was a Person with God the Father in heaven, was also God, but not the father, correct?

If you will read Acts13:33, you will see the words are used to refer to the resurrection of Christ.

"This day have I begotten you (the first begotten (John 3:16) from the dead (Rev. 1:5)).

Jesus is the eternally begotten of the Father.

I cannot find these terms for Jesus prior to being Human

Remember it was unheard of a god becoming man. Many men claimed to be god and from the Greek, there were sons of gods. Jesus did not use that term of Himself. He referred Himself "son of Man" and equal with God, unfathomable to the Hebrew and Greeks

What was he called before he became Human then?

All we know is the scripture, as the" Word " in John 1 and there is little separation shown in the OT.
Angel of the Lord is attributed to Jesus, again in a earthy form. There is little to suggest separation of the God Head to shown "Jesus" singularly except worldwide in the NT in prophecies.

The Holy Spirit, can be seen as" Spirit of the Lord" in individual actions in the OT as opposed to the Holy Spirit

Jesus was the unique, only and eternally begotten of the Father.
God's only Son yes, begotten ,yes, eternal yes, but only begotten as a Human ,. He was not "begotten" as a GOD

I wanted to add , other claimed to be God's Son. Jesus was the Only One that verified His claims
