I somehow don't feel the need to defend what I said to you, go2church. Accusing someone of hating the poor without knowing how they live, or exhibiting any desire to find out, is a lazy coward's way out. You have good company in that regard. If you're going to accuse people of hate you better wear yer big boy pants.

I wouldn't expect you to be able to defend such childish behavior, so I'm glad you're stopping here, you looked really silly.

No he made a legitimate point. You are worried about his reference to your attitude when your accusation about those against government assistance is a pretty lousy one. Not sure how you can reconcile that. It is kind of hypocritical.

Mexdeaf, I am curious, do you believe that everyone who is poor or in need is lazy?

Many are. My wife and I are both deaf and we could easily live off the government- and most deaf do, at least in south Texas. Most will not work for a living, or get married, because if they do they will lose their precious benefits.

What was that point, something about him being familiar with chicken dung?

I said the op was poorly worded, now maybe you're seeing the reason I said so.

The Chicken Dung defense is a rather poor defense, kind of a political correctness defense. Using an Anglo-Saxon word in the defense might strengthen it.

Ahhh, the originator will forever be known as Chicken Dung Man.

Yeah, and Jesus wouldn't drop a bomb either. Typical bleeding heart rhetoric.

I'd call it Christian theology. The problem with fundamentalist Christians is they don't know where their Christianity stops and their far-right politics begins. You're correct. Jesus wouldn't drop a bomb. He said love your enemies. How is that consistent with killing them?

You touched on one of the primary reasons that Eastern Europeans do not believe that Fundamentalists in America are Christian. They see them simply as a group who have sold their souls to the right-wing, militaristic government and have abandoned Christ in the process.

There are other reasons also, but this is one of the biggies.

Jesus said when he returns, the blood will be up to the horse's bridle. Sounds like Jesus is going to kill a lot of folks.

You guys are wrong on that one, too.

Kind of ? The lefties here have no idea of anybody's charity work. To accuse someone of hate while living in such ignorance ? Chicken dung.

Do you believe everyone who is against 7 or 8 generations of the same family on welfare hates the poor ? Is it ok for you to generalize, but not anyone else ? Why so hypocritical ?

You mean why YOU don't consider them Christian. The feeling is mutual, by the way. You support the wars, and the militaristic government more than I do, C.T.Boy.

Yup.

...This Christian opposes ObamaCare for many reasons - the phony cost estimates, the compelling of people to buy insurance when they don't want it, the negative impact on employment markets, etc. - but the biggest reason I oppose ObamaCare is that it doubles down on the very thing that has made health care so hard to afford in the first place. It continues down the road of making everyone rely on third parties to pay their medical bills, which is the very thing that has taken away people's power to simply go and purchase a service and pay the bill...

And Ed Schultz is a moron.

Which wars have I said I supported?

I have repeatedly said I opposed the Iraq War .... even the idea of such a war before we invaded.

I have said that I always thought going into Afghanistan was a bad idea.

Anyone with any knowledge of history would have know both of these ideas were bad.

I have said that the only war in my lifetime that was probably justified was World War II.

So, Bro. C. explain your comment. I would appreciate it very much.

LOL. Your hypocrisy is stunning. You base your accusation of hatred based only on my opposition to the fraud and abuse that goes on in the welfare system, with no further explanation. Yet your support of Obama is enough to wipe out any moral high ground you may claim when it comes to war. And, it is only being used to change the subject.

You can only claim we hate the poor in ignorance of any facts at all.

Thus the wisdom of the man who brought us, "Chicken Dung Man", who, again and again and again ad nauseam refuses to answer questions and attempts to change the discussion having found himself painted into a corner that he painted himself into.

Again, Bro. C. what wars have I supported?
What wars have you opposed?

Painted into a corner ? You are crazy.

I would think a military veteran would know the military term for "coward". I stand by it. If you can accuse people of hate without knowing their lives, then it fits quite well.

And even if it is off topic, I don't support ANY of our wars, and campaign quite profusely against them. I promote and support Libertarian candidates, at all levels, and it's because they are they only party committed to peace. And please, don't tell us Obama has his hands clean. We all know he's your guy.
