Yes for sin but not people. If God hated people who sinned that is in the way that Calvinists insist he would never ever say the following, in Ezekiel 33

Say to them: ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked should turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways!

You can't divorce sin from the sinners. He will cast ppl into hell not just their sins.

A convicted felon stands before the judge who renders him his sentence. Does the crime(s) he committed cast into prison, or the person? It is because of his law breaking he is sentenced to prison. It is because of sin ppl go to hell, sentenced there by their God.

Are we not already pleasing to God, by being in Christ now, regarding of behavior or not?
We are pleasing to God. Our actions are not always pleasing to God.

Walk as children of light — 9 for the fruit of the light results in all goodness, righteousness, and truth — 10 discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.

The Holy Bible: Holman Christian Standard Version. (Nashville: Holman Bible Publishers, 2009), Eph 5:8–10.

And the only way we are pleasing to God is that we are found in His Son. God's love is only found there.

NO scriptures states that God is love as you see it as being! He also has Holy Hatred, as per His Holy nature demds it for sin!

no scripture to show your point, but you decide who God loves.

God created us all, and He loves us all, but some wanted to do things as they wanted instead of as God.

sorta like your statement
Psalms 17 28

"Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins [be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" ( Ezekiel 33:10-11 )

With respect, He's speaking to the house of Israel here, Rockson...not to all men indiscriminately.
He's pleading with His covenant nation through the prophet, to keep the covenant that they swore to Moses that they would keep.

Well sure the last verse of the text says "O house of Israel" so what you're here claiming then is God does not universally look at the wicked the same way. Now sure there's the wicked who choose to repent which could be said to be different but that text doesn't specify they would repent. So you're saying God doesn't take pleasure the the death of the wicked if their Jews and they go to hell but he does if they're Gentiles? In the light of ALL that Jesus said and revealed with he was on the earth did he ever, ever draw a distinction that some peoples wickedness he could stomach but not others?

What you're putting out their Dave is advocating elitism and you've said it yourself based on some physical decadency. So wicked Israelite does evil...but God feels sorry about their demise not pleased in their death...but wicked Gentile he is? And if God is not pleased in the death of a wicked Israelite then that means he didn't want them to go to hell? Isn't that was you say that God's pleasure is always carried out that if God wants something then that's the way it's going to go? And yet he says many Jews will not make heaven their home. (see below)

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west (Gentiles) to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be cast into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matt 8:13

Not at all.
What I'm advocating is that man's idea of love is warped, compared to God's.
What I'm advocating is that there is a widespread belief among Christians that God loves all men and is not willing that any of them perish, but that they all come to repentance... and that it is based on several out-of-context Scriptures.

God's word specifically states that He will have mercy and compassion on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens towards Him ( Exodus 33:19, Romans 9:11-18 ).

According to the Bible, God's love has a specific target...His children, and it can be demonstrated from His word ( Romans 5:1-11, Ephesians 2:4-10 ).

Back to my request....
If you believe that God loves all men, please show that he does, by listing the Scriptures that prove it. ;)

God kept His end even though they failed.
Miserably.
Just like any of the rest of us would have in their place, and in their circumstances, I would imagine.:(

Based on what Scriptures?
Please keep in mind that I am not saying that God is not kind and merciful to all men...but other than John 3:16, which is often used, in my opinion, as a blanket to cover everything else in the Bible with regard to all of mankind, where do you see that God loves all men?

Please make your case from God's word.
Good point on how this is refering to his own Covenant people, and to generally all people!

How could he not jave holy hatred towards His enemy?
Show a verse that says Satan was hated before sin. Show a verse that says God hates anyone that has not rejected Him first.
.

The entire physical universe including you is because He loves you

We certainly are not lovable
