"Obama’s private briefings for liberal members of the media, which excluded conservatives, were well-documented. A few:

December 2012: Several journalists reported that MSNBC hosts were meeting privately with President Obama to discuss the impending “fiscal cliff” fight.

May 2013: NPR’s Ari Shapiro reported that President Obama was meeting privately with “lefty columnists,” but hastened to add that there was “nothing nefarious” about it.

November 2013: President Obama met again with liberal journalists, as Obamacare struggled with the failure of healthcare.gov and other problems.

March 2015: Politico’s media reporter, Hadas Gold, reported that “a group of journalists and columnists,” all on the left, met privately with President Obama, but the White House refused to say “who else was at the meeting or what was discussed.”

But... But... Obama. Is that all ya got?

.

Very useful for pointing out the hypocrisy of ctb...and others.

I will continue to do so for those that are critical of Trump s actions, but gave Obama a pass for the same thing.

As for you, if the shoe fits, wear it. If not, just whine a little more.

And yours. You complain about Obama doing things but when Trump does the same thing, you are silent.

I will continue to do so for those that are critical of Trump s actions, but gave Obama a pass for the same thing.

And I will continue to do so for those that were critical of Obama's actions but now give Trump a pass for the same thing.

I didn't give Obama a pass and I'm not giving Trump a pass, so I won't be fitting any shoes.

You'll have slim pickings.
The rest of us have the BB hypocrite in chief to keep us busy.

I guess my question is, we all got tired of everything being blamed on Bush.

Will we now resort to blaming Obama for the next 4-8 years?

Blaming is the wrong word, although there are lots of things that can be blamed on him, some that can't be easily reversed.

What is happening here is pointing out the hypocrisy of those who gave Obama a pass for the same things Trump is doing.

I fully intend to keep it up. If you don't like it , put me on ignore. It won't change a thing.

And all I'm doing is pointing out that folks are playing the "well, they did it, so we can, too" game.

If we conservatives want to be seen as better than liberals, then we need to stop acting like the liberals.

Or maybe for the next 4 years, you could start calling yourself CTB, and he could start calling himself carpro?

I

Not what you're seeing here. Stop making things up.

Remember, you're only a click away from never seeing that kind of hypocrisy pointed out.

There's a name for a government that bars media outlets it views as unsympathetic from access to its workings.

It's not "democracy."

Just ask White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, as someone did in December, shortly before Spicer accepted his current post as President Donald Trump's proselytizer-in-chief.

During the campaign, Trump had revoked the credentials of reputable outlets media outlets at will, sometimes for weeks on end. Asked whether the White House would continue that practice, Spicer scoffed at the notion:

"Look, there's a big difference between a campaign where it is a private venue using private funds and a government entity," he said. "I think we have a respect for the press when it comes to the government. That is something you can't ban an entity from. Conservative, liberal or otherwise, that's what make a democracy a democracy versus a dictatorship."

Yes there is a word, its Tyner
very dangerous thing to be a Christian and liberal, as you cannot serve 2 masters!

What master do conservatives serve?

Look at history, the first thing a wanna-be dictator does is limit the press. The last thing a dictator wants is an open uncontrolled press.
Ever watched "Meet John Doe"?

What is the role of a for-profit media corporation? What is their ultimate reason for existence?

Christianity has nothing to do with liberal or conservative. We need to realize that the Kingdom of God has nothing to do with the kingdoms of men. As Christians our citizenship is not with the United States of America.

So...do you trust a media outlet whose sole function is to make money off your loyalty to their brand?
I trust my God, My Mother (God rest her soul) .....kinda trust the wife (after 30 years) & my bull dogs.....they both have bitten me--and its me who feeds them. ;)
